I don't know about getting angry over toothbrushes but I think it's more about buying those electric ones especially and not just stocking up on replacement heads instead of having so much waste with the handles. You can also sharpie their names on toothbrushes if you need to buy more than one of the same color.
Just soak the toothbrushes in mouthwash when they are sick. It's silly to be so wasteful and buy whole new ones. It's not a matter of "personal choices" when it's out and out wastefulness.

I totally disagree. Many of the things purchased have a long expiration date, so they won't even have time to go to waste. I think some people don't have this habit. But at home we do the same thing, we don't let something run out to replace it, because we won't be able to go out every time some things run out, so when we go to wholesale markets, we stock up on things that we know will last a long time. Perishable foods are purchased more frequently of course, because they don't last as long. As long as you have a good amount of storage space, I think this way is better, because even if you can't go out for a while, after all, situations always arise, you don't need to worry because there's only one or the other and you'll use it.

Keep in mind too that most of the kids are involved in sports and would have dirty uniforms multiple times a week. They also get a lot of snow and that is going to generate a lot of wet gross clothes as well.

I think it’s the general lack of consideration for plastic waste. Like they make Gatorade powder in a bulk can. That would be so much less waste. A little tip when it comes to placing meat in those plastic bags when u are placing two into one bag is to place them with the backs facing each other this way when they scan it they don’t have to take it out to scan the second one Alicia and this tip is coming from someone who worked at a grocery store
I only put one in each bag. Cashiers can make mistakes they cant put the blame on me. I had a cashier pick up a punch of items in her arms and scan them once all scanned she put them in a bag. I was over charged $50+
She just did a pantry restock, did you not see how much food was gone with 13 people eating 3 meals a day and 2 snacks plus all the kids friends and family for 16 days? My goodness. Go try that for one month and come back and let us know how you made out.

And this weekend here in Missouri I am so thankful for my pantry back stock food. Where I am we just got 1 inch of ice with 9 inches of snow in the past 12 hours and more on the way. 2020 taught us all Alicia included to have a mini grocery store somewhere in our homes.

A lot of groceries, in bulk cows and pig at the meat market . a lot of freezers and refrigerators . They didn't have to shop for food in several years. just an idea about the water bottles. when you´re all out of sports caps you could easily screw the top of and put a sports cap on one of the regular bottles. just tell your kids to keep one, maybe rinse it. doesn´t this robot bother the customers? does it have a use? what does it do when you whistle back?
Just a little tip….you should never put food with cleaning products or soap or anything else that has smells that can transfer to your food, and make your food taste like the product. Also, frozen food and anything like that should be DEAD LAST, because then it will stay cold longer and not completely defrost before you get it home

This year, we saved $$$$$$ to be able to remodel the entire home. New hardwood flooring throughout, paint ceilings , walls ( different color of paint ) paint twice on walls / ceiling . Buy new cabinets, already have new appliances, and anything else, we change . And Funiture , pictures ,etc. Just too much to list . New shades , curtains, new doors inside of home.
My 13 year old loves stuffed animals.. She has hundreds. My 7 year old is really into Minecraft Lego and I must admit I find it very therapeutic helping her build it. 😊

you don't have to soak beans soaking only help them to cook faster. I can all my beans from dry n they are good . I used to boil for hours or put on crock pot in am n ready in pm lol I don't buy anything canned any more I do it myself but I did buy case of diced toms as I could not get good price on fresh to can a years worth lol
I have never even heard of soaking dry beans. I just put them in the pot and cook them. It does take a couple of hours, but they are so much better than canned. Everyone has their own way and nothing wrong with that!!

Yes, my grandchildren only drink water ,on certain occasions they have sugar free soft drinks , because their parents care about their health and teeth ,and they both are in a lot of sports ....you can purchase flavored water too for some variety! .......also same....they are never sick !

just an idea about the water bottles. when you´re all out of sports caps you could easily screw the top of and put a sports cap on one of the regular bottles. just tell your kids to keep one, maybe rinse it.

Just a little tip….you should never put food with cleaning products or soap or anything else that has smells that can transfer to your food, and make your food taste like the product. Also, frozen food and anything like that should be DEAD LAST, because then it will stay cold longer and not completely defrost before you get it home

walls ( different color of paint ) paint twice on walls / ceiling . Buy new cabinets, already have new appliances,
and anything else, we change . And Funiture , pictures ,etc. Just too much to list .
New shades , curtains, new doors inside of home.

you don't have to soak beans soaking only help them to cook faster. I can all my beans from dry n they are good . I used to boil for hours or put on crock pot in am n ready in pm lol I don't buy anything canned any more I do it myself but I did buy case of diced toms as I could not get good price on fresh to can a years worth lol
I have never even heard of soaking dry beans. I just put them in the pot and cook them. It does take a couple of hours, but they are so much better than canned. Everyone has their own way and nothing wrong with that!!
