All these methods where a road conforms to the mesh are failed, because in real life, roads don´t and should NEVER conform to the terrain. It's the terrain that mostly is changed to conform to the road. At 3:44... the cross section of the road has a what... 10 degrees inclination? That would never happen in real life. The cross section is always 0 degrees unless when in a curve, when you want an inclination to generate g-forces and grip to the cars. One Sketchup plugin that does this whole thing really well is Instant Road Nui for Sketchup. But their business model is really bad imho.
Hi good presentation and very clearly explained. One comment anyway: the end of this video is a repetition of the beam solution, you did not show the railing one live. Could you correct it? Nice work
Hello, in the last chapter You've started explaining about using railings to get the job done, but then again, after introducting the last section of the video, the previous part about deploying the beam tool is unfortunately repeated. Probably video mounting error. We'd love do see that, im going to experiment with this from now on. Greetings. EDIT: I noticed this has been reported, and also another video was uploaded afterwards.

Could you please share the project file in the video with me?
