When Devon discovers that you can atrophy your leg muscles by sitting in a wheelchair for a few months the 95kg class is in trouble.
😂
lol this post wins.
😂
Best comment this year, thank you
I hear he's considering amputation.
I liked the "soon female classes" in the end
hahhahah that had me dying man. Soon or late it will be possible. I mean Devon looks like a woman right and when he wants. he can feel like one. Thats more then enough in these days today
Transgenders power💪
Ray - you keep the sport engaging.
You make very serious videos, followed by videos making fun of the seriousness and it’s a perfect balance in my humble opinion as a RUclips viewer
Oleg is a beast but this is Devon.
Devon will win
@@JupieYT bet🤑🤑 big man
@@JupieYTlol r u serious
Even though I'm Russian, I hope Oleg wins. Devon is just too much nowadays. He is everywhere and he doesn't get accountable for his "shows"
what happened against chance? it was pathetic performance from devon
My favorite armwrestling duo
Injury risk also increases after big weight cuts. Somehow it negatively impacts the tissue and joints even after rehydration unless there are several days in between weigh-in and competition
Your muscles are OK I’m not sure about your tissue, but I do know that your brain does not get a lot of water. That’s why you see a lot of MMA fighters who cut a lot. They are more likely to get knocked out because they’re not holding a lot of water in their brain because it takes four days to fully get backthe body though they get all their muscle back plus more sometimes. I’m not sure about the tissue though, so yeah, you could be right there.
Whoever wins, it will be a super impressive victory coz both guys are so tough to beat. I give the edge to Devon, but Oleg can win too.
You 2 are the best!!! My favs by far!!!
God I love When you two are together! Your like the Cheech n Chong of Arm wrestling...
Thanks for your vids and discussions Ray, top notch.
4-1 Devon. Devon gives Oleg first round, takes the next 4
Hahaha you guys are so funny together
"Petrenko, Petrenko..." - D. Larratt
I want Oleg to win but i see that Oleg take 2 rounds and Devon start to gain full control
I definitely agree that many people are underestimating the likely strength advantage of Petrenko at 105kg, Devon is too tall for maintaining maximum strength at 105kg, And you mentioned the key thing that the hard heads are overlooking,👉Devon is already super lean at 270lbs, Which means he will have to lose quality muscle weight & strength to make 105kg. Devon will certainly have his hands full against Petrenko. The antagonist’s illogical & undiscerning replies are always entertaining.😉
Just Watch the match and see that it was a wast of tour time typing this bulllll……
Ларратт успеет восстановиться к началу поединка. Там не будет взвешивания непосредственно перед самим поединком, оно будет раньше
Devon will just kings move, abuse fouls, and cheat the setups till none of that matters. New age of armwrestling is dumb.
Oleg Petrenko is hulked out at 105kg whereas Devon Larratt will be drained at 105kg I believe
Ask yourself can pentreko pin Devon 4 times consecutively? It's not that difficult to figure out
We support Oleg!
The Dadikyan match is a strange one. Dadikyan flashed Oleg out of straps round 1 like knife through butter out of strap. Oleg then won. Davit said he felt an injury round 1. So if that’s true, then Devon gonna smack em IMO from the start. If match with Davit is true indication of Oleg’s level then it could be interesting round 1.
Good observation
We are here for a good match, let be best men win!
LETS GO NO LIMITS ! 💪🔥
devon is mostly tendons
What's up nerds
No limit larratt 👑
Devon NO LEGS Larratt in the 90kg category. 😂
I CAN'T xD
If you’re going up against Devon, your name better be Genadi or Levan.
Hahahahahaahah😂😂😂😂😂
Don't underestimate devon 😎
The Genadi match was referee robbery.
If Devon wins, I give him all due respect. But the cut he's undergoing, in the timeframe he's doing it, is extreme even considering that the concept of weight cutting is already extreme as is. I don't think dismissing Oleg outright makes sense, though I do believe Devon still has the advantage.
He weighed in at 277 last night. Ouchy
He just threw some weights in his pockets to get the fans excited😂
If Devon makes weight smartly Devon will win. It's just a matter of how hard the cut is, and how much he sacrifices to make that cut in a short time. If he trained to stay in the 105kg class he would not be beat by anyone at that weight, IMO. Same for 115kg. Open weight is a different story, I don't think Devon can ever beat Levan or Vitali.
If you can't explode devons hand off the go like levan did or simply bring him into a hook with a massive shoulder and back like genadi, you have no chance.
Big brother Janis picking on our cutieboy Ray!
How many have come.... How many have failed
"no one is safe" Hahahahah oh man
Genadi is big enough to do that to Devon, im not so sure that oleg is. You have to be able to be on top of his hand or else hes going to come -over the top- of yours 🤷♂️😅 if you climb over the top of someone's hand it becomes infinitely easier to press since they dont have proper connection. The hand is still the most important thing in Armwrestling and thats why john will forever be the goat
That was a very big hulked out super heavyweight version of Devon who faced Genadi though. Devon moves down 2 divisions to pull Oleg Petrenko at 105kg. That's a much smaller version of Devon and bodyweight matters a lot in strength sports, especially when we are talking about 20kg difference.
@@TimmyTurner421guys this is a fake match there's no reason to get excited about it call Super heavyweight is not losing to a light heavyweight😂 not even worth watching
I dont think the cut will be massive,i can think of devon weighting like 114 or 112 to fight against petrenko, and even if petrenko tries to pull devon and press him,i doubt devon will easily give in...
Yeah, its not because im a fan,but i just think devon wins this one mid-hard difficulty cause the first round will surely be hard on both sides
I can see devon having trouble with petrenko at first
But after that?
Its over for petrenko,he will be too tired whereas devon's stamina(tf this guy is old but his arm and forearm have crazy strenght to spare)will surely kick in and get the Win
Do you remember when Brzenk cut a lot of weight to pull Sasho for the 95kg title? He definitely lost a lot of power in the process. Big weight cuts at advanced age - not good
Yeah if Devon had done it over 6 or 9 months it wouldn't have been a big deal. But he's 277 and it's like 2 weeks away lol
@@flossordie2256I read somewhere 2.5% loss of water weight can reduce strength by 50% Devon’s cutting a lot more than 2.5%
@@samraspin9325 that's probably true if weigh ins are the day of the match, but I think these are the day before or maybe even longer.
@@samraspin9325cuz he just put some weights in his pockets to get the fans excited😂 he's definitely not 277 because when he gets up to that way we can see it in his face and his stomach
John does not know how to cut weight and is 10 years older.
Meeting in the middle with engin and devon
Devon sweep
Rip Levan
What the Jedi Master shows us there at 10:20 is really the only reason Levan was able to beat Devon their 2nd go-round. (Hear me out...)
When at center table, Levan couldn't move Devon off-center. When Levan tried to apply side pressure, it was his own hand and wrist, not Devon's, that started to give way. Levan being a super-heavyweight, has length enough, and enough drag that he was able to pull back and quickly transition into a press. In that position, he drained every ounce of energy from Devon's arm and you could see it in the remaining rounds. (Levan and Engin both confirmed this is what happened.)
A lot of guys will therefore be tempted to press against Devon, but unless you have a massive table presence like Levan, or equally long levers, pressing early against Devon is a mistake. Oleg will have to pull with tons of back pressure to extend Devon out farther and then go for the press. But there's a good chance that, unless Devon is severely weakened by the weight cut, Oleg never gets him off of center.
you're delusional. Drained him in one round? seriously? Isn't devon supposed to have "amazing endurance" "more endurance than anyone else" blah blah blah. cut the shit and accept that he's Levan's bitch and cant do anything to him
Oleg Petrenko is no doubt a solid legit opponent for Devon but then he is still the Level 2 or even Level 3 elite below the Level 1 elite group where Devon is, especially a well-prepared Devon.
Dude, I'm not saying Oleg would win, but you have to remember that Devon is cutting 15kg for this.
He is not the same that faced levan
yess..he can....
Oleg is in big trouble
Ray, do you think Devon will stay there and defend it or do you think he will retire the belt if he wins it and he’s just doing this because Oleg was talking trash? I can’t imagine he stays around here at this weight for a long time.
Depends if someone immediately challenges him ? He's doing coz very few can say they won LHW, HW & SHW at professional level hence he wants that belt badly
Devon will win .the end
I think Devon will be in real trouble this time. Unless the weigh in is 2-3 days prior, I don’t think he has a shot.
If devon can make weight he will win plain and simple!! Just like fighting if you make the cut ok... By time the fight happens your back up to normal weight
How much time is there between the fight and weigh-in? I'd imagine one needs a couple days at least after an extreme cut.
@@utewbdit's one day as far as I know but some are saying its 36 hours before the match. The problem is neither Devon is 105 or Oleg Both have to cut except Devon has to cut more
@@HafizShivji786 It's hard to believe Devon is this over weight so close to the match but he always wears clothes on his weigh in videos, who knows how hard he's trolling here. If he is a solid 20 pounds off, it'll be a hard match for him. Oleg is an absolute tank and naturally much closer to 105 kg.
@@utewbd if you see he's latest podcast with Neil he said he was 275 when he came back from Dubai but in 3 days he's already 251 which is where he should be
@@HafizShivji786 Can he seriously drop another 20 lbs that fast and not lose major strength? If Oleg gets finessed in the setup he's probably losing 2-3, but honestly if the refs hold Devon accountable I think Oleg will make him go way outside then press him. You can't just be lean like Devon and lose 40 lbs in a week without dropping serious power.
Another amazing show

Sorry, I have a question.
I recently got involved in an arm fight, I was in a winning position, the pressure was great and my technique was good, but I heard a loud crack coming from my elbow and my throne elbow. I had to leave the game, at first it didn't hurt and I could move my arm, but the next day I had a strong terrible pain on the inside of my elbow, and if I pressed my finger it hurt, and I couldn't do lateral pressure. It hurt a lot, I used some creams and a lot of ice and rest, as the days went by it went away, every day it was a little better, after 1 month it went away completely and I am in perfect condition again. But I was very scared, could I have broken my arm? Can I get back to training and conditioning now?
what happened?
Devon gonna spank him I fear
I think it will be the other way around.

uhuh
What is the strength percentage Devon loses at 105kg?
5%
Nobody can answer this question. It's just made up bogus percentages
Eins zwei drei sechs sieben👍🏽
Devon beat prime john at 230, who was world open weight champ in 2008. Do i need to say anything else? I'm sure he's stronger now than then. This is going to be 6-0 devon. Yes, petrenko is number 2 on earth, but devon isn't supposed to be 270.
Devon will weigh 255+ the day the match occurs as well. Petrenko will weigh 230.
Devon beat injured John in 2008
He’ll take 50 minutes to beat him 3-0. So annoying.
It will all come down to 1 thing . Can devon wear down oleg in the first 2 rounds .
Before we even get into "does petrinko have the power to beat devon" first we have to determine if he has the skill. How many top tier kings movers has he faced or even practiced with? We see it over and over everyone fixating on power. All devon needs to do is stop it in the 3rd round and he wins........ Who really thinks petrenko can pin Devon that many times?
Other than Genadi (and of course Levan) we don't see Europeans training to defeat the kings move and over and over they lose to it. My prediction is Devon's strength isn't the issue as Petrenko is going to try and power through the kings move like so many others and lose because of it.
real question is can Devon make weight?
lol keep sleeping on Devon he won’t succeed pressing Devon
Devon is going to be way way way too depleted. 270lbs 3 weeks out is insane
How can you understimate a Champion and after what Oleg did to Dadikan?you must be out of your mind, or you a Travis or Rvj fan those guys are delusional 😆
I expect nothing less then a war between Devon and Petrenko 💪
The problem is Devon gasses his opponents outside of the rounds at any cost necessary. That includes elbow fouling himself for restarts while going for pins at the same time. It's too much mischief.
@@lethargicastengah572 after that weight cut Devon might be the one who gasses out first

I doubt you will stay there he might win the belt and then retire it. Oleg can battle someone else for it.

Too long. Too much wrist. Can Oleg get one?
Ray starting to get a little bit of a Devon hater? 🙂
Remember, after Devon lost to Genadi, Devon started training his inside more. Now, over the last few months idk if Devon has done much weights but he'll still be strong. And once he starts the weights again, just keeps getting better. Should be a good match.

Ray, you should go see Devon and talk to him face to face about your obsession with him.
What does Devon want with 105kg? 😂 He should just beat 115kg and go back to super heavyweight. 105kg is a bit risky because of the drop in strength, and it's not comfortable for his frame. He's 195cm tall, and 105kg is too light for him.
