MELODIC MUSE by Andy Timmons
THEMATIC DEVELOPMENT
“CRY FOR YOU” is a song that Andy Timmons originally wrote and recorded for his 1994 album, Ear X-Tacy, and it has remained a staple of his live shows for all these years. It’s in D minor-“the saddest of all keys,” as Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap would say. While it is based on a fairly common chord progression - Dm - Bb - Gm - A7 - it does lend itself to a lot of opportunities for musical expression.

beyond under rated incredible guitarist/musician
Such a soulful and fluid player.
Tone! Glad your 1st answer phrase didn't end on D to prematurely ground the melody. The minor 3rd was still leading the melody into the realms of beauty.
really enjoy andy's playing and his ability to share his skill
