My last house had a dryer vent that was about 8" long if that. No need for all this, it never clogged and if it did, just reach in from outside. I don't get why more houses aren't build with laundry room on an exterior wall....
Mine was ducted straight out, about 6 feet, a 6 inch duct. Anyway, i attached/taped a new toilet brush to the end of piece of scrap 2x4 i ripped to 8 foot to 1 inch x ½ inch about. Worked that up abd down the pipe a bit to loosten snd turned the dryer on a minute back in the house, off. Then walked outside. The backyard looked like it snowed LOL
Why are these vents so packed? In NC the majority of homes have a dryer vent that's ducted straight out of the home....like right where the dryer is inside the home it comes out on the other side of the wall to the outdoors. We don't see/have homes with dryer vents ran THROUGHOUT a home. Why aren't these dryer vents just vented out where they're located? We don't have but like a few feet, at most of a dryer vent. The dryer vent hose is connected to the vent hole in the wall right where it's located in the home. Does that make sense? We own a plumbing & electrical business & go in MANY homes & I don't believe I've ever seen a home with a dryer vent ran throughout a home. I don't understand. Can someone please explain this to me? Are the dryers in these homes not positioned against an exterior wall?
The moisture from wet clothes gets in the vent, the Kent from dry clothes comes after and sticks to the walls of the vent. Build up, and clogs up like an artery.
I live in nc and my dryer vent is at least 30 feet long. I live in a middle townhome unit so the dryer is in the middle of the home and vents out to the back porch. Most of my neighbors have the same floor plan. I think it is a poor design but there isn’t many other options of where to put it
I don’t know where you live in NC, but I’ve seen many long ones. Up against an exterior wall is nice but some homes have the laundry facilities in areas not located on exterior wall. There is SO much public awareness about cleaning dryer vents , there’s no excuse in someone going this long. They are lucky they didn’t burn the house down. I guess they’re like cigarette smokers, they know it’s deadly but do it anyway. Stupid, just plain stupidity
How does the air hose thing get pulled in the vent like that? Like how you keep pulling it back and it gets pulled back in without you pushing it in ? How does that work?
Now this was a good video! No vacuum obscuring the view of all the lint. Also, the more lint the better the video and this was a lot of lint!
I'm fascinated by what type of tool or attachment you need or are using?
Perhaps you could elaborate in a video clip?
Very cool idea.
It is just a air hose and nozzle that has holes drilled in in pointing toward the hose.
He won’t tell anyone
been researching this too, found out its called a jetter nozzle used for sewage or vents. They just attach it to a high-pressure air compressor.

Why not put a bucket or something underneath? Now it creates a massive mess
I wonder how he cleans it up afterwards? Letting all those particles into the air. I need to see this "cleaning up" after 🤦🏻♀️
@@DonotcallmeKi almost definitely a shop vac, would clean it up in a matter of minutes.
Don’t tell him how to do his job
@baiseduezcke2295whoa, who hurt you?
@@viborgvee8399chimney sweep here. The level of rubbish he's spreading everywhere is embarrasing. If he were a pro he'd use a vacuum.
If they are blowing heating ELEMENTS, they have bypassed the over temp fuse!
Only you can prevent forest fires 🔥

Our Home the dryer vents up and over the kitchen and out. Birds nest in it, I think the cal reg says you can’t put a screen on it..

Ever heard using a vacuum to keep from making a mess....you'd still be there cleaning up every flack of lint until no more....or you wud not get oaid
Does your cleaning tip just go on the end of a air compressor? Could we get an Amazon link?
How do you become a dry vent cleaner.
Where can i get that tool you use?
My man loves dust. Savin Lives!
The customer is happy until they realize they have to clean all that up 😂
Well hell yea, they have a quilt built up in the vent. No wonder they are blowing elements
What is this setup if you don’t mind me asking what hose and attachments

Snowing
How much do you charge for this
What's cost for this
He never answers that question, if he cleans up, or what tool he uses. He only says no one should clean their own vents.
Tool box. Display history items extracted creating more than blockage.
How can I get into this business
I'm from Bemidji.
It's all well and good but it would be better if you sucked that stuff up with a shop vac.
How did this house not burn to the ground Before now?
Snowy
I think you need a better mask.
