I’m seeing narcissistic behavior in him. She talked about his temper tantrums, throwing and breaking things, his aggression, yelling and how she avoids confrontation and/or conflict with him. As an empath I’ve been where she is. One thing I learned as a narcissist survivor is that you have to set boundaries and stick to them. The “almost in tears” card he tried to pull was a manipulation tactic that I’ve experienced a few times too. They definitely should NOT get married. He’s a 50 plus year old man with the mentality of a 3 year old!

He sounds abusive and manipulative. He can turn on the water works on in a split second but does not back up his affection with his actions. It seems she was trying to say he gets belligerent yelling and throwing things and that may be why she doesn’t communicate about arguments or other issues. He kept saying he wasn’t pleased in the bedroom. Then goes and spend $800 at the strip club. IMO the only way a working man satisfied with spending that amount of money with no problem is if he’s getting a happy ending 😏.

My mother married a man 25 yrs her senior. He needed a younger woman to take care of his old ass as he aged. She was looking for a man to take care of her. They had a horrible time communicating, they were from two different generations. He was stodgy, bitter (from a previous marriage), and a Baptist pastor. The household was no fun whatsoever.

its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring her back
