- In this thought-provoking video, I delve into the hot topic of AI's potential impact on the future of software engineering jobs. Will AI replace software engineers in future?
I have shared all my thoughts around this topics in this videos and have also given advice for existing Software Engineers as well as students who want to become Software Engineers in future.
As technology advances at a rapid pace, concerns about AI replacing human jobs, including those in software engineering, have become increasingly prevalent. But are these fears warranted? Through a nuanced exploration, I examine the ways in which AI is already transforming the field of software engineering, from automating repetitive tasks to enhancing productivity and innovation.
I got job in product based company in Hyderabad recently, I was almost jobless from last one year, I graduated in 2023, but I haven't cleared single round of interview, I brought your your namaste React course last year October, and started program around little then I start build a project which taught in React, which helps me alot in interview, I was confident in the interview,

The problem is we always talk about IT.. Programming. Nothing else. This is the only profession that exist on planet earth. Why don't youngsters think about other sectors? We all need food 3 times a day, but we (95% of INDIANS) have very low opinion on Farming and farmers..but again these mob in public: Jai javan...Jai kisan.. such a creepy crowd

Tech changes so rapidly , AI only has data of certain level and to think using that amount of data and pick the best possible approach of logic is not easy
if u r speaking general AI then , no way , I have beeen hearing the same damn thing from my childhood . I dont really belive it will happen so soon . Think about it , creating a species to think on its own by couple of humans , it needs time , a lot of time .
NOTE : AI only accumulates data and gives at one space.It doesnt have the abilty to think "
To operate AI you will also need humans, to create AI you will need humans, maybe in the near future AI will reproduce on its own but you will always need humans

AI will not be cheaper compared to human being , I think everywhere AI will not be deployed. AI is doing worst by cloning Image & other important aspect and misusing in many sectors .

Hello brother: have you used AI tools ever ,I have used myself and can say exactly say that the AI will not take jobs ...so easily and you people have just a few years of experience in IT sector and just talking rubbish ....it might take a few jobs that too of data entry type and that too it will only reduce the manual workload not replace people exactly...
I myself have 10 years of experience and have used chatgpt,copilot,core whisper ...for any job which requires little bit of manual intervention...AI cannot take that job so easily.....please be upto date and verify and research well before telling something....
No matter whether ai will replace or not. The tech industry will make you have no life nor personality. Just constant change and stress.

I disagree. It does not matter if you are the best. The AI will best every single engineer.
The way to survive this is to have the best MIX of skills that will enable you to co-exist with AI. Skills like a deep understanding of business, innovation, customer psychology, product development and more.
Companies are going to move into a space where they need one person or two who speak all those "languages" and can communicate at a business level, at a psychological level and translate it for everyone else. They will be the 1 or 2 people who will be the middlemen between business and AI. Everyone else, even the very best engineers will be let go.

ok when ai will improve and able to do quality and challenging work then what will you say you have to do super quality work.my friend whenever Ai can do software engineer work everything will be finished human brains have limitations but ai dont have any limitationsit just do all work in a fraction of seconds.

@@BeAsadisticPerson lmao what? 😂 AI does have limitations, way way higher limitations than humans. AI has no match for humans dynamic thought process. AI will give you data based on the data YOU give and the logic based on that. But it's the humans that basically develop the logic and hence from there comes data or vice versa.
There is a difference between developing the logic and computing the logic. Computing is what hardware and software is there for. But creating logic is totally different.
By your logic, calculator should have replaced accountants eons ago. But it didn't. It only enhanced the speed of work flow but didn't replace the jobs. Similarly AI will enhance the workflow, that's it.
I used the chat gpt. It's the worst AI I've worked on. For the search for code we have to google-->website like stack overflow and we get the code. While chat gpt directly gets you the code you asked for , that's the only difference 😂😂😂. What Microsoft made now was developed by Google long long ago. Please don't make me laugh by bringing chat gpt into the argument.
Also the security...the AI has the massive issue of security breach. Unless you want the data compromised by the AI good luck going for it.
Just study ML/AI, for now basically python. Learn to integrate the AI in your workflow. That's it. You don't need to worry other things.

It's super weird how people are freaking out about AI. Use common sense! Do you really think any state of any country in the world is going to simply allow their workforce to be completely replaced by AI? That means 30% to 40% unemployment. That means, along with a 10% to 20% aging population collecting a pension, billions and billons of dollars given out as unemployement. That means, sky high inflation. Nobody would be spending any money on anything. How is any state going to collect taxes if half of their population is unemployed?
Replacing your workforce would completely destroy the economy of any country and nobody will let that happen. Realistically, many workers will shift careers. New jobs and opportunities will be created and people will simply continue on their path. This has happened so many time in the past that it's hard to believe people simply understand that.
manufacturig and retail is future in India ig, especially for avg people who cant solve complex tech problems who just want to earn enough to support their families.

Akshe is right, but remember that you don't need to suffer to become a good SE if your goal is only a job or money. There are many routes to success. You can reinvent yourself many times in life. You are very good on something, that's the route.

I totally agree with you. Im SE/CE student and I want to learn about AI. I have a project on my mind. I see people for others industry that just want to get in. "If i will learn 2 years i will earn 15k? (In my country it is a lot). But in what other industry is that? People have that weird imagination that tech will solve all their problems. And It is not true. It is like medicine electrical you have to learn you have to improving yourself in order to stay revelant. I think that ai will clean up a little bit. There will be no jobs with low effort in every industry but there will be high skilled people in demand. Like you said, Tech will be everywhere. In hospitals in banks in school. But they will need a people who will be engineers to integrate this, to improve this. We don't need that much factor workers like in the past. But now we need mechanicals. When computer revolution was started everyone said that accounters will be done. Yes if someone didnt learn how to use computer. But there was demand for those who did, and then IT industry grew up.

ex) Adobe Included AI in photoshop, other companies who use to buy 10 subscription will only buy 2, Adobe Subscription cost may increase but limited companies will buy
so Adobe will lose 8 subscription then they will release their dev and other company will loose 8 designer. less demand less production.
its just an example how $3b Indian industries is going to over and to bring India to poverty or we dont know

When an actual teacher starts roasting student in parents teacher meeting but really want what is best for his students xD. Yep comfort zone is an issue and I already started working on it. But still at my work every day is a challenge for me and each day I learn something new at my job as a software engineer. So I can say I am still doing fine. I just need to work on the gaps that i have to fill.
This ai hype is bullshit...no ai will replace humans...the creativity of ai (without any human training data is zero , 10 years ago also it was zero).

UI, UX and in frontend, i learn React and Angular with work on real time projects, You don't have time separately for learning and coding in small company you have to do it together, i don't know how much my code is standard, it like showing results, then its fine, what will you suggest for me. on what i have to focus, i am try to take out time for learning. you can see the comment time (12:47 AM)
