I calced some for kril specifically, dps = tumeken+bis+heart>bis+scy>bowfa : though the difference between bowfa/scy doesn’t really seem worth with the upfront cost+upkeep on alts+main whatever you are doing. I’d imagine it’s similar along bandos+kril
I wonder is Jagex planning on updating the slash or melee meta in general to a new weapon come lets say Varlamore? This buff feels underwhelming relative to shadow/tbow’s dominance. Do you think another buff is out of the question? I don’t think it’s unreasonable to consider given how difficult ToB is compared to CoX and ToA.
I agree, the buff still doesn’t put it in the same category as the other two mega rares. Tob is also harder to get into than cox or toa for sure. Not sure if they would want to buff the slash anymore though… it’s still basically a crush weapon.
@@Maxed_Rock Ah ok thanks for the showcase! Been wanting to go to Bandos but tbh I feel like scythe still isn't worth it because I'd need to wear bellator which prevents me from using lb+vw. And those are the highest dps there.
@@EnlightenedOne90 sorry for the confusion 😅 you could ring swap between kills. I want to see how well the bel ring works with claws and scythe especially with the nerf of the vw coming eventually
@Maxed_Rock I've complained about it having a stab bonus for years too 🤣. Main problem with the scythe is that it's BIS for bosses that don't exist, they throw in high defense for everything and +15 isn't going to really move the needle

I'm confused.. so all the footage showcasing the buff actually was on crush which didn't get a buff and zammy wasn't even potted?
I redid everything the footage is on slash and only the first zammy kill was not potted

nightmare is weak to crush, the buff was a +15 slash accuracy boost.
From what I saw its only really good at Duke and TOB still, shadow or tbow is better just about everywhere else

@Maxed_Rock Yeah the only way for it to shine is if they make bosses catered to the scythe since only TOB and duke are kind of close that
