Watching NCT, especially WayV on livestreams is just fascinating. They switch languages so quickly and seamlessly sometimes you don't even notice they switched back and forth mid sentence. Or 1 guy would say something in a mix of english/mandarin and another would reply in Korean, they understand each other and no one questions it. The people who translate WayV content and livestreams are a different breed because they have to know Mandarin, English, Cantonese, Korean, and bits of German and Thai and whatever other language they try to throw in for the heck of it.
But I think flipping between languages comes naturally and it just spills out without thinking. Like, they start speaking in one language, when their brain gets stuck on a word in said language, it automatically pulls it from a different language. Ex: Ten and YangYang speaking in english but saying "mian" instead of noodles probably because their brain automatically pulled that word in that split moment and neither one bothered to correct it. BUT when you try to think about saying a sentence in multiple languages and forcibly flip languages, it doesn't flow out easily, at least thats from my experience. IDK, multilingaulness, and the human ability to learn/know different languages is fascinating to me and it's actually what got me in to NCT in the first place lol.
Watching and listening to WayV really is so fascinating, sometimes people laugh at how they stumble over words or get wrapped up different languages, but yeah that's a lot of brainpower and intelligence to be able to comprehend and properly use all the languages floating around in their heads. When NCT are all in one room together, I know it's kinda wild hearing how they communicate sometimes. Thanks for checking this out! A lot of this was Yangyang and he's Tawianese and from Taiwan and Germany (he moved to Germany in middle school and was there for a few years before he joined SM) so he's really a language genius along with Ten. Can't wait for more WayV and more NCT in general!

Lol similar to you guys being "forced" to speak in Spanish; when I went to China with my sisters, my aunt told us to not speak english in stores because they'll assume you're rich and raise the price on you and it was SO HARD because I'm so used to speaking english with my sisters. We definitely did slip up more than once.

Yeah correct it's just 21 member for NCT2021. Like Kevin said, winwin filming his drama, Lucas still in hiatus. But we can still hype them 😊💚 about new members, seems like no addition since the photo teaser already official. Maybe the new member will debut directly under new unit next year, just like Yangyang Hendery Xiaojun debut directly under Wayv 😍💚💚💚
I kinda started to understand WayV's struggle. I don't know why but at some point I started to mix in a sentence the languages I learnt which are English Korean and French (my Native language). Nowadays, I'm so deeply into Korean that I kinda started to lose my French vocabulary and I only think in Korean and I see hangul everywhere... when I can't find the word in French I always think about in English first and then in Korean... my brain is so messed up that's crazy!

Honestly Yangyang is pretty good at german considering he only learned it for a quite short time, most kids in Europe have to learn the native language of the country they live in (german for Yangyang), English cuz that’s just how it is and another popular language: often french, Spanish (just like Yangyang) or latin
Due to this Yangyang has a pretty “german” accent when speaking English

Lmao I get the thing about not switching my pronunciation cause I speak 4 languages: English, Filipino (Ilokano and Tagalog), Japanese, and Korean. If I’m speaking English I’ll speak Filipino, Japanese, and Korean words with an English accent. When I speak Korean I’ll say English and Japanese words with a Korean accent. When I speak Filipino I’ll say English, Japanese and Korean words with a Filipino accent. When I speak Japanese I’ll speak Korean and English words in a Japanese accent.

U need to update yourself on the situation he didn’t admit anything and only apologised for the inconvenience caused which every SM idol does when they’re in a scandal, moreover idk what you’ve been reading but there was never any SA, u antis mistranslated everything wrong and used SA for your hate narrative towards him. The allegations were poorly fabricated from the start. The China association of performing arts by the Chinese government just released their list of the celebs banned from online streaming yesterday. Lucas is not on the list for SA, there is no news articles saying the allegations were SA, so go and educate yourself then speak on the topic, you need to be credible with what you say in the future. SA is taken very seriously in Asian countries and if Lucas did such an act then the police would be involved, he would be on that list, he would already have been locked up. But none of that is happening because there was never any SA allegation in the first place, kpop stans eat up everything antis mistranslated and spread it without thinking and reading into situations logically. If u want more evidence I have sources waiting for you if you would like to be mature about the situation and read up on it properly.
