Thank you Bozzy for the great video. The C2 Corvette is one of the first that Callaway Germany built. She was 2 times GT European Champion over 4 litres, and 2nd place for jochen Mass in 1999 in goodwood.
C2s and C3s will always be my favorite Vettes. I had a C3 that I modified to SCCA B-Production that I autocrossed and tracked. Still believe Vettes give the biggest bang for the buck.
Yeah, it looks like the same car Jochen Mass manhandled at Goodwood Revival in 1999, but we can't be certain... I watched a footage of that race some time ago, and Jochen Mass is really hustling the Corvette, passing Cobra Daytona Coupes (one driven by Phil Hill another by Jochen Neerpasch), Lightweight Jaguar E Types and even Derek Bell in a Ferrari 330 LMB!
God these look so good. I love how they've used the livery to pick out the 'waistline' of the car so that it still stands out in profile view from afar.
