Thank you, this is the best instructional video set that I've found for learning how set up my A9. The other guys seem to blitz through at a such a rate that an old codger like me(70) can't keep up. Looking forward to more.
Hi Roger, glad I can help out a bit. So great to hear that you still have the passion for photography. The Sony cameras are super. Stay tuned for more videos.
Hey Robert, thanks for watching, hope I helped a bit. You'll love the combo you decided to get. Pure photography joy! Update perhaps since I filmed the videos... For focus area I use "zone" (not tracking zone) for BIF and I quickly change over to "Flexible spot S" if my subject is mostly stationary.
Hey, thanks for watching! The Sony A9II really is the best I've ever used for action and I've been a pro for 23 years. I do hope you get one and when you do, check back, I've got more videos on the way.
@@DonMammoserPhoto Thanks … do you own a sony a6... aps-c camera? If yes, can you do an indept review of this camera with the 200-600 lens? It’s hard to find reviews on youtube with this combo. I simply can not afford an a9 after buying the 200-600 lens😀
@@ronschuddeboomdigiscoping3693 Hey Ron, I do own a A6600 and use it with the 200-600mm lens. It is the next set of videos I plan to get together. Stay tuned and thanks for the request.
Not sure if/where you discuss Animal Eye? It seems once it's enable you don't have to do anything to use it but there is EYE AF that can be set to a custom button, does this over ride the default setting of enabled or just another way of using it?
Hi Bryan, I don't use the animal eye focus but you are correct that once you enable it it just overrides the default setting and kicks in when it detects an animal's eye. Then it follows the eye for focus.

My a9ii comes tomorrow, and I already have the Sony 200-600mm so ready to hit the wildlife refuge tomorrow so watching how to set things up now!

Cool video! Hoping to pickup the a9ii in the new year! Looks to be an amazing camera
