    This model is the previous incarnation - you can see by the controls by the gear selector - the new models no longer have them, as all controls are via the central screen. Quality is excellent although some issues with alignment of fuel/electric caps. Much quieter and more luxurious than the old version. having to turn off all driver assistance aids every time I start is driving me insane - they all came back on default at every start up - Porsche enable the drivers to turn it off by default. saying that it is an excellent car - no reliability issues so far and as an owner of 5 RRS , I have never had any issues. Fuel consumption on my hybrid 550e is around 63mpg , full range on electric is 70miles, cost is around 30% cheaper than the previous model, but the tax advantages via companies is very good.

    Excellent video and great review. I love RR and indented to buy the Sport, but people started telling me that it has reliability issues, like most RR and also that it will roll over easily, if hit, even saw a recent video that shows the Sport, with very low speed, hitting a little car from the back and it started rolling over. There's a similar video with a Discovery too. Also, the new Sport 2024 models have downgraded their interior and cockpit, don't have the climate control unit anymore, they have replaced it with a piece of wood and have now included it in the main screen and it now looks like a Tesla. So I really don't know what to do to be honest.

    I like your content and your honesty.
    I like the Land Rovrs as well....Defender, Discovery and the RR Sport SV ....but the fact that the tail-end feels like it's still spinning or can breakout in a turn...would have me a little concernd. Have you driven the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser?? I'd be interested to hear what you think--how they compare ...besides the fact that the Land Cruiser is cheaper and less luxurious...it might be the "more capable SUV".....
    Funny....most Land rover buyers will never drive "off-road". Mostly driven in big cities....so even though the Defender can do off-rading it does't matter for 96 percent of owners. :)
    Love to hear your thoughts on t other off-rad capable SUV's e.g. MB G-Wagon, Toyota Land Cruiser.....etc.....

    • @whatcarwhattime
      @whatcarwhattime  8 месяцев назад +1

      Big thanks! Support and questions like yours makes me even more motivated. Very likable cars and the buyers of them most often won't get anything else even. Thats love. Yes, its like there was some type of lag and it spooled up and kept on going so you couldnt really throttle control it. That is not so reliable if you want to drift, especially during the conditions like in the review 🙂. As soon as the new Land Cruiser will be available for a test drive I'll be on it. Sure, will check this other ones as well. Thank you so much and thanks for watching 🙏
