Lol I was one of the players that didn't like that I was unable to queue missions for my explorers. I'm glad it's finally in! Will give it a go this weekend.
The critical resources option is such a awesome addition and is something that was kind of missing from the DW2 experience for a long time. Part of the original Distant World series draw was that early resource exploration phase where you were scouring the nearby systems for vital resources you knew you were going to be needing very soon, and then having to keep your early mining operations in other systems safe from pirate raiders, space critters and the like as everything hinged on those remote mining operations. When DW2 released and your starting system pretty much always seemed to have all the key crucial resource you'd need present, a whole campaign phase of the empire building effort was just taken away, so glad the option is finally there to opt-into getting that old experience back.
Great update. I hope they will add som QoL to the ship designer as well. I spend WAY to much time on the design page every time some new component is introduced. When choosing autoupgrade it would be so much better if you could see what components where acutally changed from the last design. Just add an asterix or similar :)
We need improve sound designs for the weapons and warping sequences. I think its kinda dull and need a bit of spice so people can make cinematics looks even cooler.
I tried playing it recently with the "Return of the Shakturi" expansion, and it is just unplayable due to crashing all the time. A real shame they haven't got this fixed.

never bothered me, they were mostly on auto anyway.
So two years later we finally get queued orders?
Means the devs did not gave up on this or us :D
The lack of basic things like queuing orders is why I still haven't picked this up after investing hundreds of hours into DW:U.

Is there any detailed tutorial of DW2 ?
So you're telling me I have to reinstall the game now??

It's actually very stable, must be something system specific, you should send in your crash logs and try changing your game settings.
It used to crash in the past but now almost never. It is indeed stable for me
@Alex-s8w2v Never had that issue with DW2. Check your graphics drivers.
Great game indeed
lol there were people who didn't play because they couldn't queue explorers? smh wow...
There are PC Gamers, and then there are PC Lamers.
