Thank you for the video. Here’s what worked for my Epson ET-2850: The error was not letting me access the "Wi-Fi Setup" menu. I had to restart the printer. (1) Restart the printer (I left if off for 5 minutes and took the power cable off both ends). (2) As soon as you see the home screen scroll to the right and select “Wi-Fi Setup”. You can also go to Settings - Network Settings - Wi-Fi Setup. (3) Select “Wi-Fi (Recommended)”. (4) Press OK to proceed. (5) Select “Others”. (6) Select “Disable Wi-Fi” and confirm your selection. (7) Switch off the printer (for a couple of minutes) and back on. I hope this helps someone out there.
Thank you so much! Epson support has done nothing for me. With your help I was able to get my printer running after months of emailing Epson support. Thank you!🎉
This video saved me from the headache of calling Epson support! Fixed in under a minute and back to printing after getting the dreaded wi-fi error code. Thank you!!!
You really saved me, I have an Epson L6270 printer and I had this problem many times, thanks to your help it is working normally again, I am very grateful for your effort.
Thank you. i had the same problem. I wish I had known about this 1 day earlier.I just bought a new printer. So now I have 2 prin🎉.Thank you for your help
I did the "Reset all data and settings" / back to factory defaults option and then reinstalled drivers & apps. That finally worked. Didn't try the reset network settings variation. If it happens again, I'll try the reset networks settings option. My printer is the Epson ET-3850.
All I would add is....if you can't get onto to wifi, it needs to be wired LAN. Then update, which WILL fix the problem. If you mentioned that, sorry. Thanks for the help
It's not just this printer... It's all printers. Ever since my ISP spectrum upgraded the Wi-Fi I can't get any printer to work consistently because they basically disabled dual band. The problem is these idiots aren't aware printers are STILL being made for 2.4ghz only. Just bought a brand new printer and am still dealing with this. Such crap
I have had the same problem recently. I believe it is due to our main router being an 'advanced' router with 2.5G and 5G under the same SSID. Connecting to another router using 2.5G worked flawlessly. Frustrating problem. Printers are still so primitive! lol
5 minutes? I left it unplugged overnight and that still didn't help... I've kinda gotten my money back already, I'm going to try to get a replacement, once this message pops up again on the replacement, I'm just gonna trash the whole thing
This printer is truly a hot steaming pile of shit for how much this is there’s no reason it should have these constant issues im on my 3rd one and still a new issue.
It’s 3AM & this tired teacher is no longer stressing now that my printer is working again🤩
Thanks so much!
Thank you for the video.

I have tried everything and it's still not working. With the comments I have read it appears EPSON will be of no help
Permanent solution 😢😢😢😢???
This printer is truly a hot steaming pile of shit for how much this is there’s no reason it should have these constant issues im on my 3rd one and still a new issue.
