the teachers union should not be running our schools.
Teachers unions have held politicians hostage since 1968 and the formation of the Federal Department of Education. Their mantra is always more money and more money while producing declining results year after year for graduation rates and act and sat scores. Even those kids lucky enough to go to college, have to do five years instead of four years for a degree because they failed algebra, biology and English in high school. School choice is what the country needs with education funds following the student regardless of the school they attend be it private, religious or even home schooling.
