How to renew the certificate if certificate is expired ? and is it always needed CSR and is it fine If we can generate CSR from my system ? I have application in app store and we have IOS distribution certificate, but its going to expire soon, can you comment how to renew it
We need EU to mandate Apple to not require provisioning profiles and locking the compilation behind hardware and payments. So, to build and publish an application for iOS, I have to: 1. Buy a Macbook. Minimum $600 for a good one(used) to be able to build the solution at all. 2. Buy a developer account to publish. That's $99 per year. 3. Buy an iOS device to be able to create a provisioning profile. That's again around $500 for an adequate modern device used. So far we're at $1200. How it should be: 1. No need to have a Macbook Mac station to build the solution. MacOS shouldn't be locked behind hardware. 2. Shouldn't need a developer account to publish my app. Shouldn't even have to publish to the Appstore, why do I need a developer account then? EU already mandated Apple to allow people to sideload apps locally or from other stores. 3. I shouldn't need an actual physical Apple device to publish for iOS. A virtual system running on MacOS should be plenty enough for that. The total to do all that will be $0. Similar to Windows. I made, built and packaged the application for Windows, Linux and Android and spent $0 total: It just works for Windows on Windows. For Linux, I installed Linux on my Windows machine(WSL). For Android, I Installed Android SDK and built my project, and for testing I installed Bluestacks and tested it on the Bluestacks emulator. I did all that without spending a single dollar and also without leaving my workstation, and no additional physical devices.

Thankyou very much pallav.. I admire you and respect your hard work for each video.. kindly post more .. 😊
still waiting for the next video (more detail about certificates)
Since we don't have an iPhone, how can we obtain the provisioning profile, and how can we distribute the app in the App Store?
informative! thanks for putting effort into creating these useful videos!
