I built a very similar pc for a friend of mine about a year ago, only difference is we went with the 3060ti overclocked edition, for only adding like $150 to his build, he’s getting 120-165 fps in just about every game he plays at 1080p, told him he should switch to 1440p but he likes the 1080p performance too much
I used my 6600xt for 1440p gaming mainly and I still got 70-100 fps is almost every game including AAA titles, but I think it lacks the vram to play the AAA titles smooth enough for extremely competitive players, but absolutely is a beast of a card and I 10000% recommend if you need a cheap upgrade or its for your first build, 10/10 card
I use to have a AMD 8350 with a GTX 1050TI with 16gb of ram used that setup for 8 years! Few weeks ago I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 3700x with a MSI 1080ti Gaming X with 64gb ram.. both are overclocked and i get 70 to 80+fps on ultra on Red Dead Redemption 2. Even put two M.2 970 Evo Plus SSD ones a 1tb and the other is 2tb. Im beyond shocked and happy in how big of a performance increase I have now.
That's great, as long as it plays the games you play at a performance you're happy with then it's perfect for you. however for the future there's no time you'll even use 64gb of RAM so I'd stay down at 32GB and use the extra money to buy a faster speed RAM.
I went from a 2600x to a 5600x and I can tell you that the bump was a night and day difference. I got a bump of almost 30 FPS in some games with my old RX 480 and now I am saving for a RX 6600. If you live in Canada and USA, save your money through the year and purchase your pc components when there are big sale days, like Black Friday or BOXING day. For 2023, I would suggest saving your money to buy first your case, RAM, NVMe SSD and cooling components. Seeing that we are in the first year of AM5 platform, wait for next year special days and purchase a current generation motherboard (a 2023 model will most probably support next years CPU's) and then a 2024 CPU model and PSU (don't cheap out on a good PSU). This approach will provide you the best bang for your buck (at least for me it did. I did this with the AM4 platform that I have as of now).

Now I'm still waiting for the parts, so there's plenty of time for someone to comment my wrong-doings :D Who knows, might have even bought components that won't work together XD
funny how this is basically the pc I built 5 years ago and still use, except for the rx 6600 obviously, that one I upgraded to this year. Also my main drive is a 150gb sata ssd because that's what I could afford back then.
The fan is the wrong way around 🤣 the OEM reccomends it faces the IO.. Also just spend a lil extra on an ATX mobo, much more options for expansion for the future. Like the 550 Pro
in Canada that's a good 1500 bucks because I have the Radeon Rx 6600 eagle and the amd ryzen 5600x and the GPU was close to 400 bucks and the cpu was around 250. here's the rest of my new pc build specs: timetec 1tb nvme, $91.99 cad corsair rmx850 PSU $180 cad gamdias Apollo e2 mid tower atx $91 cad kuuroi 24.5 inch 170Hz monitor $160 cad corsair vengeance lpx 32gb ram $110 cad MSI b-550 a pro Series mobo $170 cad

I used my 6600xt for 1440p gaming mainly and I still got 70-100 fps is almost every game including AAA titles, but I think it lacks the vram to play the AAA titles smooth enough for extremely competitive players, but absolutely is a beast of a card and I 10000% recommend if you need a cheap upgrade or its for your first build, 10/10 card
respect for the ssd, 1 of the best price to perfomance ssds, at least with pricing in my country
I love the case and would make some holes in front of the case to add extra cooling to the system.
1080p is the closest approximation to a monitor 2k resolution, so it's funny hearing you mention 1080p and "even 2k" separately.
this combo good for your first pc...
wow. A budget build that's actually budget. Not an "I added this 3080 that I got for $400"
or someone wanted an NZXT AIO on a i3
bruh i was looking for a pc exactly like this XD Thanx bro
Alternatives for blue team is 12400K with a 3060 or 3060Ti ( I went for a used one with warranty, whole setup costed my around $550 )
Just costs a little over a ps5, but it can do anything. Totally worth it.
I wish u bring back the old video format, while the change is welcome, I do enjoy the old one better
Nice budget build ❤
Is it good for gaming and streaming free fire or pubg???
Plz tell me if is it enough for it without lag problem
I was one number off from building the exact same build in the video. We both know whats "budget" when we see it
I love when you say "gaming pc"
Thank God - an actual affordable pc build for the average Joe.
But also the 5600 can even pair up to rtx 3070/ti,or rx 6650xt - 6750xt.
do u recomend upgrade that pc with a 4060 ti?
I love the pc, but that GPU sag was immediate
finally a *BUDGET* pc
What are the exact specs ?
@@Masala_Chat47 don’t ask me
I have the same build without the GPU, and it runs games very well
This is my current build but with RTX 3060 and it's absolutely great with mid-range gaming and photo/video editing.
Nice work 😺😊
I built that PC, I'm from Mexico and everything is very economical and with an RX 6600 I already have a gamer PC with 6500$ mxn, very economical
Man hit the stock short stack cooler. That’s going to cause more than $20 a better air cooler costs in part wear and tear during operation.
I did this with the AM4 platform that I have as of now).
its solid budget build now in 2024
This short has made me feel good about my first build.
I've gone for a Ryzen 5 5600X, Asus Dual Radeon RX 6600 8GB, Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB, samsung evo+ 1TB nvme ssd, asus prime b550m wifi mobo, corsair RM750e 750w 80+ gold.
I got this exact build without seeing this video building it soon
I have this exact same setup and it’s great. I play competitive fps and on low to medium setting I get at least 200fps
that cpu cooler...
The fan is the wrong way around 🤣 the OEM reccomends it faces the IO..
Also just spend a lil extra on an ATX mobo, much more options for expansion for the future. Like the 550 Pro
I like how this setup use Kingston fur(r)y beast
in Canada that's a good 1500 bucks because I have the Radeon Rx 6600 eagle and the amd ryzen 5600x and the GPU was close to 400 bucks and the cpu was around 250.
here's the rest of my new pc build specs:
timetec 1tb nvme, $91.99 cad
corsair rmx850 PSU $180 cad
gamdias Apollo e2 mid tower atx $91 cad
kuuroi 24.5 inch 170Hz monitor $160 cad
corsair vengeance lpx 32gb ram $110 cad
MSI b-550 a pro Series mobo $170 cad
What PC case is it? It looks quite nice.
Do you think that motherboard would be good paired with a 4060?
I hate it when people say “this pc will run any game at 100fps at 1080p”
They’re either being purposely disingenuous or they don’t have a clue, because that isn’t how PC gaming works.
Excuse me, can you tell me where you bought it? If there isnt a specific website can you tell me all of the specs?
Can confirm its the best pc you can build right now if your budget is 500-600$
This is basically my pc build and i can say its definitely worth it although i spent about 800 on it.
Ngl it just looks like my dream build i have the same specs
Damn actually a budget build for once
16 is a bit low nowadays, but itll get by, for just a bit more money, you can just upgrade to 32, and that will carry you for quite a long time
gonna upgrade to this give me opinion, 6700xt ryzen 7 5700x is it goodd?
