What we also need to take into account is the fact that we say things are X amount of years old because we only have the technology to date up to 50,000 years old or something. So EVERYTHING is deemed "young" to us. There are things that are probably millions of years old and we slap an 1,500year age on it. I don't trust our ability to age artifacts.
