Hi Nina, this song is the closing theme of an Italian sci-fi movie called 'Creators: The Past'. The director of the movie is also the composer of the entire soundtrack, if I am not mistaken. P. Zaia seems to be another genious :) I doubt that you will ever hear this wonderful song in a concert because of the rights..... The movie was launched in Italy on 8 March, but due to the pandemic restrictions did not get the attention it deserves. Unfortunately :( cheers from Vienna!
He has done it live now, 2 months ago, don't know if you've seen it yet or not. That ending note was everything that I never knew I needed, he literally sounded like a wailing guitar and it is among one of my top favorite things that he has done vocally.

I don't think that, if he ever sang this at a concert, he will do that huge jump at the end. It would be a very demanding jump in a long voncert and can very easily go wrong.

Well, I think in those kind of songs he can unleash his voice and let it shine perfectly. Nevertheless "Amanat" is my new absolute favourite since it has been released.
We all know he can do it live! And that's what I like about dimash; is he can do what, a lot of singers would love to do.Sing the song like the video or even better then the video!
I am struck by the very slow pacing of the vocals. I find that it is quite difficult to sing along. You constantly want to jump the gun. Dimash's vocals are stellar and mind boggling! My understanding is that the director looked up best singer in the world and Dimash's name came up. The director made a demo using 2-3 different singers because no one singer could do the song justice. Dimash definitely did his job with this one! Gorgeous song and I can't imagine anyone else pulling it off as well. Thank you!
All of that is right. Zaia also mentioned in an interview with a Dimash fan club that, after hearing the demo, Dimash agreed to do the song but had conditions. As an Italian film composer, he was used to primadonna opera stars with big egos, so got out his notebook for whatever ridiculousness was coming. But instead, Dimash said he'd moved in with his grandparents and needed the film crew to mask up because of their health. Isn't it great when the guy you're a fan of justifies your enthusiasm?
Very impressive performance, his range is quite incredible. Can I recommend a cover of Disney's 'Hellfire' by Violet Orlandi, it was released about 15hrs ago, I think it would be right up your alley.
The movie was released with a delay, that's correct, but it WAS actually released in Italian movies, it started on 8 March 2020, as far as I remember and was not particularly noticed. Covid ruined the premiere, D could not attend,...... Since then, it has come to a stop, unfortunately.
