- Hollyhock is one of the best pot or garden flowers for the winter seasons in the Indian subcontinent. Usually it comes in single petal and the plants grow around 8 feet tall. But some companies have produced excellent variety or cultivar which is double in petals and attains 3 feet height. This has become very ideal and suitable for growing in the gardens. Here ,I have about how to Grow Spring Celebraties Mix . Everyone can understand and follow this easily. When ever you graft any stem it's leaves naturally sheded. Nothing new in it. However, if the plant is dying you have to take care.

Rananculus are mainly grown from bulbs. These can be grown from its seeds also but growing from seeds is not a popular method at all.

@@anu7982 I have been planting a lot in flats. I fill the flats at my compost bin. I let the flats sit there until I am ready to plant something. I am trying new flats from Bootstrap Farmer. They are much sturdier than Johnny's older cheap flats which I see they have replaced. The new problem is they appear to be too deep. I am going to try 1/2 filling them. Barley and radish are quick to germinate so I will trial with them. I have been trying to grow Zebrina from Rareseeds. They delivered it w/ a 38% germination sticker, smh. They should advise of this before shipping to give the customer a choice, but they don't:-( I have been trying to get Zebrina up and running for a month. I have had some germination about 25-38%? but nothing past the initial (1) true leaf:-)
@@portiaholliday8741 oh I am sorry dear I am not expert in gardening becoz I have just started only so I can't advice anything ,whenever I find anything deficient in any pot ,I used to plant portulaca which is an easy growing plant ,it will give you lot of flowers anyhow ;what it requires is only water and some soil . If u have any prob facing with any seed germination ,first put some cocopeat and soil in egg troughs and it will quickly germinate ,then you transplant . And if ur flat requires lot of soil to fill it up ,fill up some gravel stones initially so half will be filled up and it's good for water drainage and then put soil in the trough and plant. So you can plant at enough height in the trough . Gravel + soil + cocopeat + cowdung will work for almost all plants ,prepare a layer of each and put the plant or seed ,don't put the seed at too much depth .

Your process is ok but you don't need to cover it.
Dry the seeds very well and the keep it in normal refrigerator.
