Ann Margaret was the sexiest woman alive. As a teenager, she was so beautiful. She’s a real home town girl, loves her family, talented, could sing, dance and act. No wonder Elvis fell for her.
Ann Margaret was such a natural, unreal talent. There's nobody like her today. She effortlessly created the dance moves of the 60's and 70's. It was just her. Who she was. A real genuine star.
Thank you for comment, and I completely agree. There is a clip of Ann-Margret at four or five performing (it was shown when they did "This is Your Life" for her), and she's already got some of the moves you mention down. As you so adeptly put it, her talent was just innate, a part of who she was. I hope you enjoyed my tribute to a rare, peerless performer.
Ann Margret was as close to perfect as you could get, pre-1972. After her accident, through no fault of her own, she lost her shine. I still consider her to be a goddess.
THAT WAS GREAT!!!!. A great montage for a real good actress. I love the way it was edited. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Very Very ENJOYABLE. I will watch it again and again. Ann Margaret gave some great performances in film and television. I love her today and in her hey-day. Thanks again. A good piece of film making.
WOW 🤩 this is AWESOME ! Your clips from some of my fav ANN-MARGRET movies ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So beautiful and A huge fan since State Fair & Bye Bye Birdie . Have ALL her albums and got to see her LIVE performing @ Cesars Palace and The Hilton in Las Vegas during her great Las Vegas run !!! The Very Best ! Thanks for sharing so many A-M greats !!
Thank you- glad you enjoyed my tribute to the fantastically talented Ann-Margret. Years ago, I wore out my VHS tape of "Bye Bye Birdie" watching her sing the title song in sensational fashion during the opening and closing of the film (fortunately I have the Twilight Time Blu-ray with a great print of the film now). I would love to see her perform live, as you did!
This is great! I guarantee I never saw this before I did my own recent tribute videos, but we both share the same appreciation for her. And thanks for your own comment the other day!!
Omg …. I LOVED the opening and closing of Bye Bye Birdie !! I read that the director was fascinated with her & he put both the opening & closing number in giving extra attention to A-M ! Seeing her perform live singing and dancing in Las Vegas was extra special ! Such a great performer !! Also was very lucky to garner a autograph on a flight ✈️ she was on !!!!! I was a flight attendant then and altho I wasn’t on that flight 😟 a friend who was working that flight did grab a autograph for me . I was told she was sweet , gracious and talked w/ my friend in the galley for 30 minutes giving credit to our profession . How’s that for a close call ! I probably wud have embarrassed myself 🤣🤣🤣😍 Anyway ~~ thank you again for sharing such GREAT ANN-MARGRET memories ❤️
@@xstanadu Yes, I heard George Sidney paid for the segments out-of-pocket, then after the movie came out and was a smash Columbia Pictures reimbursed him, obviously understanding the opening and closing added much to the film's success.
Yep, her work in "Tommy" has really stayed with me over the years. It was a great part and Ann-Margret was very touching portraying Nora's guilt throughout the film- so glad she was recognized with a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination.
She's a very kinky girl The kind you don't take home to mother She will never let your spirits down Once you get her off the street She likes the boys in the band She says that I'm her all time fav'rite When I make my move to her room It's the right time, she's never hard to please That girl is pretty wild now The girl's a super freak The kind of girl you read about In the new wave magazines That girl is pretty kinky The girl's a super freak I'd really like to taste her Every time we meet She's all right, she's all right That girl's all right with me yeah She's a super freak, super freak She's super freaky, super freak, super freak She's a very special girl From her head down to her toenails Yet she'll wait for me at backstage with her girlfriends In a limousine Three's not a crowd to her, she said Room 714, I'll be waiting When I get there she's got incense, wine and candles It's such a freaky scene That girl is pretty wild now The girl's a super freak The kind of girl you read about In the new wave magazines That girl is pretty kinky The girl's a super freak I'd really like to taste her Every time we meet She's all right, she's all right That girl's all right with me yeah She's a super freak, super freak She's super freaky, super freak, super freak Temptations sing, oh, super freak Super freak, the girl's a super freak; oh She's a very kinky girl The kind you don't take home to mother She will never let your spirits down Once you get her off the street

I have most of these movies in the original tribute video (except for the last two) and believe the current placement of the clips works fairly well, so I think I'll leave that one as is. I'm currently working on the Janet Leigh tribute right now (after your suggestion), with most of the movies you mentioned involved- tonight I just ordered the final Leigh movies I will need for it. It will probably take a couple more months to put that one together, but I have gotten a lot of clips from the Leigh movies I already owned ready for when I create the video.
I wish her a Elvis would had stayed together I believe she made him feel happy a feel like a man more then Priscilla ever could or did but I also believe he loved them both. Priscilla a Ann Margret. but lost them both. He must had left he failed at love a Happiness.
and could you imagine what a child from elvis and ann-margret would look like! omg not to mention the talent that child would have. i know ann said elvis was her soul mate. i just wish they could've been together. she might have saved him.

This song perfectly describes Ann and fits the video

I love you, Ann.
She was the Rita Hayworth of her generation.
Thanks for commenting! Love Ann-Margret, and Rita too of course!
Super
The song says ”the kind you don't take home to mother”, but what is funny is if I were dating her I would introduce her to my mother.
Yep, my mom would be impressed by Ann-Margret too, either dancing wildly or in a more sedate demeanor.
Beautiful both her and the video
Ann-Margret had all the goodies.

slc2466 - love how you've synchronised the clips. This is a keeper.
Amazing vid. very well done!
SU'PER
Hello,
Glad you enjoyed the video. The peerless "Kitten With A Whip" is shown at 1:05.
Ann-Margret can also be seen crying in green in "State Fair."
I had to check out Amy Adams... WOW. Amy Adams is the most Beautiful woman. Yes, she looks like young Ann-Margaret !
Tommy es extremadamente extraño 🤣😆
@slc2466 Awesome thanks for that I have just purchased the dvd :)
What about the BOY? he saw it all ! Fabulous
Yep, her work in "Tommy" has really stayed with me over the years. It was a great part and Ann-Margret was very touching portraying Nora's guilt throughout the film- so glad she was recognized with a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination.
1962's "State Fair" is the movie with the men in red.
She's a very kinky girl
The kind you don't take home to mother
She will never let your spirits down
Once you get her off the street
She likes the boys in the band
She says that I'm her all time fav'rite
When I make my move to her room
It's the right time, she's never hard to please
That girl is pretty wild now
The girl's a super freak
The kind of girl you read about
In the new wave magazines
That girl is pretty kinky
The girl's a super freak
I'd really like to taste her
Every time we meet
She's all right, she's all right
That girl's all right with me yeah
She's a super freak, super freak
She's super freaky, super freak, super freak
She's a very special girl
From her head down to her toenails
Yet she'll wait for me at backstage with her girlfriends
In a limousine
Three's not a crowd to her, she said
Room 714, I'll be waiting
When I get there she's got incense, wine and candles
It's such a freaky scene
That girl is pretty wild now
The girl's a super freak
The kind of girl you read about
In the new wave magazines
That girl is pretty kinky
The girl's a super freak
I'd really like to taste her
Every time we meet
She's all right, she's all right
That girl's all right with me yeah
She's a super freak, super freak
She's super freaky, super freak, super freak
Temptations sing, oh, super freak
Super freak, the girl's a super freak; oh
She's a very kinky girl
The kind you don't take home to mother
She will never let your spirits down
Once you get her off the street
Ahh Elvis pity yourself..
You're so beautiful Ann .. I wish you were married to Elvis
Is it just more is Amy Adams the spitting image of a young Ann Margaret?
this is so cute. what movie is 1:05. I love Ann. this is am amazing video!
Her at 1:05 in the purple/pink skirt and headband is the song My Rival from the movie Viva Las Vegas 1964.
In the 1960s Batman series, she may have played Harley Quinn if the character existed at the time.
But she did play Ann-Margrock on the Flintstones 😊

There was another movie dance scene that would have been great in this. It's the one where she dances around in paint.
