Hey, sorry I don't follow you on a regular basis, I was just wondering something.
At ~ 2:50 you say that you calculate your landing performance with no reverse so you'll stop in an even shorter distance if you actually use them on landing (the same way some companies add extra weight in the takeoff performance so they takeoff with a lower figure than calculated).
I guess it would make sense for Boeing (I don't know), but for Airbus, at least the A320, it's a deceleration rate. So if you add reverse, the only thing that'll do is that it'll use less autobrake to maintain the LO or MED deceleration rate (or I guess BTV in the a/c you're type rated on).
Doesn't it work like that in the heavy Airbuses ?
