- Join us for our first theme park visit of the 2021 season as we head to Paultons Park for the opening day of Tornado Springs! In this vlog we explore this awesome new themed area along with sharing on ride POV's from Storm Chaser, Cyclonator and all of the other major rides at the park. We also check out the other changes across the park for 2021 and take a look at the construction of Farmyard Flyer, a second roller coaster coming to the area in 2022!

Paultons is probably one of the best parks in the UK -theming wise, they put a lot of effort into the looks
What an incredible day, was able to get first public rider on storm chaser and ended up riding it about 16 times 😂

Watching this vlog has bought back memories of how I remember Paultons Park. So I am 31 and literally went as a kid to Paultons so probably haven’t been there since I was like the age of 10. Back then I remember them having the old gypsy caravans in a indoor building. They also had a nursery rime indoor building were you hit buttons to make the animatronics move. There was another building with wind and the willows figures. I remember a hedge maze and play area opposite. The old bumper boats. Also they had the zoo still but you had a dinosaur forest area. It’s crazy how this vlog even though it did not have those attractions anymore literally bought it all back and there are some things I can recognise. Like those water slides use to have a giant dinosaur next to them. The go carts were there as a kid. I also think the tractor ride use to be bugs and remember the old vehicles.
Such a great transformation though. Definitely your vlog has made me want to revisit.

I went here a few months ago and it was so quiet got in storm chaser about 5 times and alot of rides on cobra and magma, loved it so much, one of my favourite family theme parks and I actually preferer the coasters at paultons to chessington
It's so nice to see you being able to do themepark vlogs again. Tornado springs Looks so good I will definitely have to get myself to Paultons Park and get on that strom chaser it looks fantastic. Great to see you both enjoying yourselves. Lovely to have Charlotte back on vlogs 😊.

I've never been to Paultons but they must be commended for the high standards they set for maintaining the areas . lost kingdom looks like it did on opening day .
We used to have season tickets meaning we went abt twice a month! Paultons park is an amazing place and definitely recommend to anyone!

Living about 45 minutes away it’s good to see you having so much fun on the rides
I went to paultons recently and went on stormchaser 3 times straight it is crazy.
I used to work there. Hated it but that’s nothing to do with the park. But as a 18 year old, listening to that peppa pig song on repeat every day for 9 months drove me insane 😂

Nice idea LFC but I think that Spinball Whizzer from Alton towers should be on there bc that’s a family coaster and it shocked me more than I expected but was fun and laughs at the end

Had a good day at paultons today.tornado springs was better than expected.and the stormchaser rollercoaster was brilliant.

I just got home from paultons and Storm Chaser and Cyclonater were very good! Unfortunately Cyclonater got shut early because someone chucked up on it.

We went both days (12th and 13th) and today was way busier, they must have capped capacity so low for opening day! Great video!

Fantastic job by Paultons as per usual. Always investing always pushing forward. They had barely open PP world extension 2018 and ground was broken for TS spring, first day of opening and already the next phase underway. Just wow. Id love to see a dark ride, a themed permanent water wide and a wooden coaster. It would be a world class family park in no times if they continue like this.

I love Tornado Springs and Storm Chaser is such a great coaster with a brilliant queue line. Cyclonator was a little sickly to me but it's a great flat ride for people that can handle them lol. Great job Paultons.

Nice to see an actual landscaped with grass and all coaster. Drives me utterly mad when these parks build these 20 million dollar coasters but don't spend a $100k on landscaping. Looks like they did multiple trips to the junk yards... got plenty out of them looks like haha. 29:19 I've always found those family inverts trains to be so interesting. I wonder what the real engineering reason for those shock absorbers and allowing seats to yaw a little was. Like just a lighter way of going about it or....? Please ask a Vekoma rep next time you meet one if you get a chance! Loved video Shawn. Miss these vlogs with you and Charlotte.

The cyclonator was the scariest ride I’ve ever been on I literally fainted half way lol
You could play an Instrumental version of Bob The Builder theme tune and it would still fit in Tornado Springs
Now all tornado springs is missing is a Gerstlauer Sky Fly called Crop Duster

Can't believe Charlotte went on the Cyclonator. 😳 I don't know if I can handle all that spinning anymore - I'm getting worse with flat rides as I get older. 😅 Tornado Springs is beautifully themed. I'm so proud of Paultons Park. Gutted they're not doing annual passes this year but I suppose there's still so much uncertainty with the pandemic.

Hi Sean and Charlotte ).Greetings from Perth,Western Australia.Fantastic theme park Vlogs,keep them coming.What a fantastic life you both have doing that.I especially like the street fair ones,must be great to be at them.Lots more rides closer together and less people!We don't have street fairs over here in Australia.I'm getting on a bit now,over 50,and not able to go on the more intense rides anymore,but i still go to the Royal Perth show every year with my best mate and go on rides like the chairlift,hang glider,matterhorn,the wave swinger,and our version of the log flume.I just love it ).Cheers and keep them coming ).

You're right, a jungle theme around the area where cobra and the edge are would be awesome! One thing Paulton's lacks is a rapids, which could be amazing for that sort of theme, and if they can get some interaction with Cobra then all the better.

When we went there in 2019 we saw all of these rides being made and were exited to go on them when they were built
I went to paultons park on Sunday and it was very busy, we had 45 minute queues for flight of the pterosaur and 30 mins for storm chaser

you should visit again but for Halloween! tornado springs at Halloween is something else! I went last year and was very impressed! Go on a day when the park is open until 7 - 30pm

the narration on the rides is so funny ive never heard any do that.
It would make sense to have smaller crowds for opening weekend because it is the real first day of work for the ops and stuff and even though it should be expected you might get "a bad show" so start increasing capacity as the crew get used their roles would make sense. Only if parks in the US did that
It certainly made the experience better for everyone who was there!
Wow the new area looks great! I was at Alton Towers yesterday and it was fantastic! The rides were running really fast this year, especially towards the end of the day. The rides had great operations, Oblivion was running 5 trains which made it walk on the whole day. The only bad part was that all the attractions kept breaking down. The only rollercoasters which didn’t break down the whole day were the smiler, thirteen and wickerman which had the longest queues anyway. They kept shutting the smilers queue line because it was at capacity and the wickerman and thirteen queues were 80 minutes the whole day. Also, nemesis was closed the whole day! They said they were trying to get it open but it didn’t even test once. Also Galactica kept breaking down and Rita broke down a lot towards the end of the day. Oh and the sky ride kept breaking down too. Also at the beginning of the day, mixtape was closed but they were testing it. Even though some of the rides were breaking down (which is expected on opening day), they did a really good job of getting them open again, except for nemesis which they didn’t even test. Other than that, I had a fantastic day and the rides were running great.

For the area with The Edge and Cobra, I would like to see a "Lost in the Jungle" theme, and they could remove the go-karts and replace them with another new coaster (maybe a moderate thrill coaster?) or more flat rides which could fit in with the rest of the area.
So well themed i last went to pultons in 2013 and it’s pretty unrecognisable so in another 8 years think what it could be like

In the introduction video Paultons uploaded they stated that they are already planning on their next big development area, for me it would have to be the area where Cobra is, I do honestly think it would be a slightly wasted opportunity if it wasn't, but glad to know they are still ever developing this park, so much better than Merlin could ever do.

I can't wait to go to Paulton's Park, I didn't Yesterday as I was going to Alton Towers for the first time. also If I had control of this park I would have definitely put some sort of crazy mini golf in this new section I think with the theming of the windmills it will work so well.

Didn't recognise you without a Nemesis poster behind you! Bravo Paultons, really nicely themed area. Love the little details like lanterns instead of floodlights etc. Little things like this make a huge difference.

I think Charlotte is slowly being converted to liking flat rides. First eagles claw at Lightwater Valley, then Time Machine at Adventure Island in Southend and now this. Loved the vlog!

I rode Wonder Woman, which is a larger version of Cyclonater, during SF Great Adventure's Holiday in the Park event. That was insane.
I was really excited about yesterday! Went to Thorpe park and managed to get on lots and got a second day free! Very excited to go back again!
