I read the manga of that one for a little while and felt very weirded out at how much the protagonist (who is a little boy) is portrayed in fanservice-like poses... Feels a bit too much pedo 😬

The three body problem was a book before it was a web novel. RUclips channel Quinn's idea covers them and other sci-fi books extensively.
They censored it China, so the opening scene comes in the middle of the book. They moved it to the front of the book in the western version where it was originally meant to be. That's caused a huge backlash in China where because they see it as the west trying to denigrate China modern day China through it's history. Much as some southerners do when certain American history is brought up.

I'm exited for when they release season 3 which no one is ready for at all. I just finished volume 26 last week and I'm reading it all again.
I've read the Re: Monster manga and it's largely centered around the MC having had an ability in his previous life and he kept it after getting reincarnated along with his memories, and he uses those to do what he likes most: killing and eating things, preferably powerful things.
Brooo next Season will be the best Season for anime.

The 3 Body problem was originally a Chinese novel by Liu Cixin. I read it several years ago. It is a hard read but one of the best sci-fi I've read.
And like usual ccp really bitching about it because its potray chinese in a "bad way"

Someone did a manga recap and I actually enjoyed it.
I liked the dilemmas of the MC and the strategies he used on how to circumvent those racial dilemma in the manga.
Holy crap, this season was made for me when I first started reading web novels. The New Gate, Re:Monster, Level 2 Cheat powers. I read those stories so long ago. I'm not sure if I'll enjoy them as much now that so much time has passed, but I'll just take it in stride. Not to forget to mention having Spice and Wolf come back; this upcoming season is massive nostalgia bait for me.

Never thought I'd see the one of the OGs Re:monster get an anime, not to sure how they're gonna adapt its peculiar way of telling a story as I find its appeal hard to translate audiovisually but fingers crossed.

Well they are speeding through it at a breakneck pace and skipping huge important bits.
Like the Orc Raid was skipped, the skeleton attack took a couple of minutes. His cannibalism and human eating is never even hinted at.

This Year is packed with new parts to older shows
One of the main things I’m waiting for is to see which studio is animating rebuild world, it got a teaser at an expo but nothing else has been shown. I love the source that it will be adapted from.
I would love to see a recap season video where you go over what you wanted to watch vs what you actually watched, how many episodes you got up to, and talk about what you expected before going into it, and if/how it lived up to those expectations.
It’s from a book not a webnovel. For sci-fi fans out there, I highly recommend the books. 3 Body Problem is a trilogy book with three books, if you’ve heard the Dark Forest Theory, it came from that book.
I'm pretty sure Dark Forest Theory is much older than the book, but it's def one of the more popular appearances of the theory in modern popular culture

6:39 I remember when no one knew Kevin PEAKing. But he is so famous in the anime world now. I decided to pick up many shows I wouldn't have even considered watching simply because he composed the soundtrack for them. And I can confidently say that he can turn a 7/10 anime into a 9/10. It's incredible what he can do, and I think it's cool that people are starting to acknowledge his talent.

I'll be tuning in to most of the sequels, but the one new one I'm intrigued by is "Unnamed Memory"... I do enjoy an unorthodox romance story with strong character dynamics, and that's looking like it might be decent, or even good.
This has got to be one of the hypest, and content filled seasons we've gotten of anime in these past few years. Excited to see so many goat animes return and continue, and promising new installments.
The irregular at magic highschool is def my top 3 picks this season! Been hooked since ep 1. Crazy Black Butler came back, looking forward to the devil butler jokes lol

_Maou no Ore ga Dorei Elf wo Yome ni Shitanda ga, Dou Medereba Ii_ is the anime new adaption I'm most looking forward to. I've been enjoying the manga.
The only thing I will say is that he MC seems to only fall in love with the elf girl, yet the elf girl isn't the only one who falls for him, yet all those other girls are rooting for the elf girl.
6:33 yeah, hopefully we'll get a season 3 or even 4. Will have to go back and rewatch the original then compare. The Pyrite episodes with Holo and the bird woman were some of the best in season 2
maybe i should re read the LN, i bought the full set YEARS ago after binging the anime.
The show seems pretty solid too but I gotta recommend the original novel for 3 body problem by Liu Cixin right here. The author is arguably the best science fiction writer in China and It has sold over 9 million copies world wide, with 3 body being the first Asian book to earn a Hugo Award. It's a really really good and thought provoking novel and its more beautifully written than a random web novel you would find online. Def give it a try if you're interested. For me, at least, the book was 100x better than the manga and the Chinese anime from a while ago.
You will be covering TenSura till August? So it will finish just in time for the Overlord movie release and your analysis videos.

I am very excited about the new gate. I think it will be better than what most people expect.
The 1st episode of banished former hero has already dropped and it seems to be deeper than living as he pleases. Seems to have the added bonus of in this new life he is not labeled as a hero and has more autonomy and less expectations on how he lives so he can now find actual connections and possibly love without all the power and fear he dealt with while being a hero.
Manga for re:monster is an ok read, so fingers crossed for the anime.
