So I have a silly question or two... why wouldn’t you use the extractor first on the color spots instead of spreading them around with the brush to just contain it in the location, then spray the cleaning solution on and spin brush it before doing the final extraction process again? Also have you ever tried a 4:1 baking soda solution followed by a 1:1 cleaning vinegar solution to get the reaction process for deep cleaning. You let the baking soda soak in for a few minutes to get to the bottom of the fabric and then you spray the vinegar over top and let it do it’s magic! I clean my rugs this way and it sure does cut down on how long it takes to get it done compared to carpet cleaning solution.
I guess he did that to make an example of how good this extractor is. By doing the extra rub, normally you know its "never" coming out.

What solution did you use? I did one mattress yesterday with some purple stains yesterday but it wouldn’t come out like yours. I used fabric cleaner mixed with some apc

I know you say people ask you if your videos are staged and I love your channel, you’re my favorite detailer on RUclips. But I do have to ask if this was on purpose. It looked fresh still. Not something that has been sitting there for years like how old the seats look. Was it kids finger paint? Also the way you just scrubbed that all over the rest of the seat, like you had to know it would have come off that easily.

What if it was purple!
Maybe that purple stuff was a kid's purple marker that was left behind during some hot weather and it leaked onto the seat??? Maybe next time ask the client so you don't end up spreading it onto the clean side and avoid staining that side. Could've gotten yourself into a doozy lol. That way you would know exactly what to clean it with.
This particular car was a repo. There was no client to speak to.

Also it could be a whole multitude of other things that are purple. The particles in the stain look like they're from food, like blueberry particles. You don't get something that's blue when you blend or mash up blueberries it winds up being a shade of indigo or purple. I think that's either a blueberry pie or smoothie that someone dumped (for the pie) or spilled and ground into the chair before the car got repo'd.
Wait what color are the dye bombs for the money at the bank that go off when money is stolen, I feel like it's red more than purple since y'know, the saying "caught red handed". I think the clothing store dye bomb tags have purple dye. Also in the video the sped up clip is in, were there shards of plastic or even of the bag. I know I'm taking that response to a reply seriously (if it actually is a joke), but I have to ask that question about the bank money anti-theft device.
It's amazingly deplorable what people do to their cars before they get repossessed. I know the other reply in the thread was probably meant to be a joke, but not all repos have the owner in jail/prison. I also wouldn't think a criminal would take the time to completely destroy the car, unless they had it for days or weeks. Most stolen cars I've seen or heard about the car's been dumped almost immediately after with a daisy chain of more stolen cars. Since this is a repo, in most cases that person probably has a home they're probably also delinquent on the mortgage payment and the house will get repo'd not long after, which they WILL give the same treatment to.

Guarantee it's some brand of purple shampoo, otherwise I don't think you'd have gotten that color out. Purple shampoo is made to come out of blonde hair, so it would come out like this.... My opinion anyway.
