@@patrickgreene20 Why do you people celebrate when others show lack of empathy/sympathy? I cannot wrap my head around it. Using the word "midget" can be seen as offensive and very demeaning to a large community of people who already deal with enough problems. Why is that good to you? If you saw a little person, would you call them a midget? Would you even say that word around them? And if they told you "hey, I don't like that word, would you use ____ instead?" would you tell them no? It takes just as much energy to not be offensive and use a different word. What purpose does it serve other than stroking your own ego and affirming to yourself that you're in control? Being a considerate person is a good thing, actually!

@@ImRichYourPoor Unless you have the agility of a tractor trailer, my grandmother moved better than this. There is nothing you can do in madden to recreate actual escape artist plays so they just made them run faster. If it was realistic, I should be able to get out of a bad pocket situation with Russell Wilson by doing more than just running fast. Escape artists don’t just outrun the D-Line, they use their agility, but noooo, cause everybody has the agility of a damn Boeing 737 Max maneuvering through a McDonalds drive through
@@jonathanprycejr.7555 Madden is a video game. Video games are supposed to be fun. Stop and Go's and just the player movement in general in 20 and 21 were fun. I'm not playing the game to run around like my players have a fresh load in their pants. Saying this "realistic" movement is good is probably dumber than saying that man coverage should be good in Madden because it's good IRL. It shouldn't be good in Madden because it's brainless, and the movement shouldn't be this slow because it doesn't play well.
Look what Hollywood did against the Steelers. He pulled of a legitimate Stop and Go with a fake swerve inside. Barry Sanders swerved out defenders. It can happen IRL, so saying it's completely unrealistic is just ridiculous

Here’s the only thing I’ll say to the opening monologue. I agree it wasn’t a smart decision on Madden/EA’s part to make this adjustment, but if ur playing the Chiefs (for example) it is realistic that you’ll always have to double Tyreek Hill on every play. No matter if you have a third or a quarter or man out there he’ll run past anything given the time. Just look at the Chiefs-Bucs game if you don’t believe me
I really like your idea of playing for money. The 2k community got really big off of wagers and bringing the idea into Madden sounds very entertaining

Just my theory: with next gen being realistic and simulation based i think you have to adjust DB’s to play receiver so you don’t get burned so they’ll react faster maybe & i think for lurking your better off trying to erase one person or route now because that more realistic than trying to cover the entire middle of the field w 1 person

I’ve never seen a madden geek till a bout last week and I just wanna say geeks aren’t that bad great videos
You can’t expect a corner to play a deep 1/3 while pressing tyreek hill in a compressed set. He could be the fastest corner in the world, there is no way he can match Hill’s speed; especially if he starts his drop with a back petal. I know EA has several ‘quirks’ but tyreek hill beating a deep 1/3 who is pressing from a compressed set makes perfect sense (proceeds to get off soap box)
He's looks right on this one, I think old gen, DB's got a speed boost when they was beat in coverage..an this gen...the don't drop faster..think in a receiver goes threw DB'S zone he should turn an run with'em..thats the thing they haven't figured out yet

apparently atleast on ps5, theres no time limit to pick a play on a kickoff. my friend literally stayed on the playcall screen for 4 hours until his guy quit.
I'm not near aswell as you are an probably never will be one thing I found out works pretty well is cover 2 and use the Mlb as long as he fast and just play a deep zone unless they run alot.

Madden should collect the stats from every game to see how many pass yards, run yards, INTS, Sacks, etc.... then players can see how many yards they threw over the year until the next madden
