Bit of trivia about the cover art, its a painting called the Standard Bearer drawn by Hubert Lanzinger for Adolf Hitler in the mid 1930s. After the war an American soldier came across the painting and slashed it with his bayonet, leaving the mark you see under Hitler's eye here making it look like he is crying.

Damn I’ve never heard this quality before! Very nice!!!
Yeah same! every other version is slowed down jut a little this is the true pitch of the songs
These are from the “what we do is secret” ep. I think the lexicon devil 7”s were pressed to play slower and distorted for some reason
最高!
Is this possibly the first release that could be considered Hardcore Punk? Recorded early 1978, released in May 1978.
Perhaps? I thought Middle Class had it? This was all my scene when I was in the 10th grade.
@@daygloman Out of Vogue came out in January 1979 apparently.
Wasn't Bad Brains earlier ?

excellent.
The intro part to No God was always so cool to me. A nice little ditty.
When they first sat down and got their bearings as a band, Darby knew right away that Pat could play the guitar.
