cracking video fella, i remember my parents taking me long eaton for this show must of been around 2004/2005 had a great day, remember meeting james mellors in weatherspoons and the very generous chap gave me 6 VIP free ride tickets, the rides were like 4 quid each, the likes of frisbee, big ben etc just on street corners was an eye opener, must get myself up there again one year, still got one of those tickets he game me aswell!
Thanks very much. I was there in 2005 for the first time I thought it was great. Sadly the fair has got a bit smaller since then due to some rides being sold to other countries but the model show gets better every year, the standard of models there is incredible. I managed to find the courage to show a few of my own models there last year, it was a very enjoyable experience. I'm hoping to return this year. If you decide to visit the date is Saturday 23rd November for the model show. Shane.
Hi Are there any model makers who are willing to sell one of the fairground rides or be paid to build a one for someone. My son is Autistic and loves the fair...when its closed for winter its hard on him...and im trying to find him a meccano ride such as above to give him to replace the loss.
Hi. I would suggest keeping an eye on eBay, a lot of fairground models pop up every now & then in different scales, whether that be Mecanno, Lego, 1/24th or 1:50 scale, but they do get a little pricey depending on how much you would like to spend on one. Thanks
I hope you have deep pockets waltzers for 2000grand for sale light wiring and platforms done by Doug and 3d printed detail and strobes and wiring getting done by s and b models of a Scottish waltzers should be completed by the end of 2015

You can address Long Eaton as just Derbyshire, it does have an NG Nottingham postcode but this is purely for mail, not geographical location.
