I’ve been trying to tell ppl that your hair needs to be detangled BEFORE using a Denman bc it is NOT a detangling brush!!! I rake & smooth with my fingers & use it to mainly curl the ends & create clumps!
Heat drying is super important to curly hair but also kills bacteria, improves blood circulation, retains products on the hair longer, and creates healthy elasticity.
The heat from a blow dryer is not strong enough to kill bacteria. Unless you are literally heating your hair to where it’s burnt, the temperature is not high enough to break down the cell walls of a bacterium to kill it
And yes HOVER the diffuser to dry the outside first! Then I go into the roots & dry my hair downwards to retain length. I don’t scrunch up bc I don’t want my curls to sit on my shoulders 😩😩😂
I use to have the sane problem and realized it was the blow dryer. I switched to a really nice Babyliss. Then got the Dyson, which was a total game changer for me. I like the color of the Pattern dryer. But unless someone gave it to me. It wouldn't get after paying for the Dyson and knowing I always get great results.
@@TheCurlyFitChicOriginal I went to get my hair blown a few months ago because for myself to blow it out and flat iron never comes out silky str8 they hair stylist said it’s the blow dryer and I need to invest in a Dyson. One of these days I will. I would like to go to a natural hair stylist and get a curly cut and have my curls defined. Thanks for the tip
