Accidently fixing the battery light after installing high output alternator

    S wire goes to Alt + stud
    L goes to Stock harnes L wire

    Ima bout to do the same conversation...i have that one wire connector as well ...so what did you figure out just hook up the wire to the L on the connector?

      I still dont know, I don't think I actually fixed anything. the light doesn't come on at all now on startup unless I ground the wire somewhere else. so the bulb still works but not when connected to the alternator anymore

      @@GibsonGarage I literally just completed mine yesterday what I did was the brown oem wire into the newer style 4 pin yellow wire my alternator was charging but I got the light on my dash so I then jumped the newer yellow wire fused it to a 12v ignition source and the light went off and everything seems to be working like it should my new alternator is only a 150amp upgrade

      Yes it seems all aftermarket high out put alts ditch the batter light sensor wire conpletely.. this sucks because my buddy snipped that brown wire instead of hooking it up to the prong, so now i have to find that wire where it was cut expose it and crimp a new set of wire to it and rewire it omg
