Truth!!!! Thank you! I have been looking for you to speak on this. Decades of stomach and intestinal issues and seeing doctor after doctor, labworks and tests and emergency hospital visits, exploratory surgeries.. just being told it "may be just IBS" .. I decided to take matters into my own hands, changed my eating habits (no "diet"), more physical activity and exercised often and had more than 10 years of being prescription meds free. Recently had 4-5 months of very emotionally stressful periods that took a toll on me physically due to not eating hardly at all for days and weeks on end. One day, I felt hunger and jumped on that feeling and ate something small, but obviously too heavy for my weakened system and gut. I ended up having an "episode" of severe intestinal cramping and pain and because I didn't have anything in my system previously to help empty out, it was the worst I had ever experienced and thought I would die by stroke or heart attack.. thats how ferocious this episode was. It was then that I began to bleed from behind.. only blood and NO poop. Never had constipation issues nor bleeding from the bum,(sorry for the graphic description) I didn't know what to do and waited until the following day to go to the ER and that was only because I continually bled the whole day and night and morning and pain continued. Docs diagnosed me with Acute Colitis and I was shocked and they were dumbfounded when I told them I was never diagnosed that before and that the last time I was admitted at THEIR hospital was 11 years prior when a single doc insisted on performing an ileostomy (without first doing ileoscopy). And mind you that I had had been admitted 8 months prior for severe abdominal pains but was in great shape (apparently not eating well enough for all the physical activity and exercise I was doing) and they diagnosed me with cancer and said they needed to start chemo asap and then over my 5 day stay, that diagnosis changed day by day.. they were wrong! They sent me to oncology just to keep check of my blood cell counts and whatnot, until they decided that I needed the ileostomy done. Asked them to do a CT scan or even ileoscopy to see what may have changed and they said no need. Long story longer, the doc opened me up and closed me right back up and said he couldn't do the procedure and that there was nothing he could do. It was exactly what I figured that he needed a team of specialist surgeons to handle my case. But maybe a blessing in disguise? I took my own platelets (blood) blocks to every place in my area that specialized in cancer and to no avail.. they would accept them if they even returned my calls. Finally, USC pathology dept accepted them and sent them to Mayo Clinic who said I had a rare tumor that wasn't malignant but had the makeup of that of cancer and should be regularly kept in check. Less than a year later, I decided to stop taking all meds (I have numerous chronic and debilitating health issues that coincided and exacerbated one another). Hadn't really looked back since, but there I was, back in the same hospital in a severe state and they haven't any real clue what is going on nor did they try to think out of the box of what they are not knowledgeable about. I sat there the day before my release and spoke to the team of docs that came into my room.. I showed them all the junk they tried to feed me for breakfast.. nothing but sugar! and stuff that I don't even eat at home and told them and also asked them if they were sure of their diagnosis and that if I was a doc and especially part of a team, I would be researching (my case) closer to find things out and not just say, yeah, according to what the patience says, this is most likely what it is! Less some mumbling about some unrelated things, I interrupted and added that I appreciated all the "care" but would've appreciated more effort in finding a absolute cause/diagnosis so that I could have realistic treatment and management based on that and then asked to be released since they weren't doing surgery like they had said the day they admitted me. They doused me with antibiotics and I came home the following day. Three weeks and counting since and so now I'm weaning into the carnivore eating to see how much it helps me to improve my health.. my life. 🙏🏼🥩🍌🍍🥭🧀🥛

My s/o was diagnosed with a heart issue. When I first met her she was very skinny and ended up becoming overweight after starting birth control (never had chest pain before the weight gain). The doctor never suggested losing weight or changing diet, instead hop on medication and do a procedure. She lost some weight, didn’t get the procedure and hasn’t had chest pain..
Thanks Dr. Paul. Preach it! Without you we're all doomed. Only a handful of docs like you are speaking out for us. We ♥️ your movement and Heart & Soil supplements.
14 weeks carnivore and I still need ppi's as fat actually makes the reflux worse. I only lost weight for the first two weeks, have seen little improvement in autoimmunity issues and am rapidly coming to the conclusion that this diet does not work for me. I know many others have roaring success on carnivore but I ain't one of them. Oh well!
I have just switched to your diet. I have huge GI issues and not one mentioned diet. I mentioned I drink Coca Cola and they said no that shouldn’t cause any issues. I quit coke and my acid reflux stoped and I lost 10 lbs. I’m still switching my diet tho now! Thanks so much for your videos!!!
Ask any doctor how much nutrition affects your health… and listen for the crickets. Many doctors do not make a strong case for nutrition and it’s affects on the body. The reason why is that nutrition to be affective takes time, it an everyday thing, and it’s a forever thing. Eat clean and your body will reward you with a clear mind, flexibility, stamina, and strength. A lot less headaches literally.
Please do a video on IBS. Most doctors will only give u a prescription for a bunch of stuff that eases symptoms but can't be taken for long. I remember suggesting mine about the use of peppermint oil and different vitamins but he disregarded it. Ever since that's been the only things that have helped me. Eating mostly carnivore and ditching olive oil has helped.
Do you have issues with your gut? Reflux? Gas and bloating? Pain? Constipation? Diarrhea? IBS? Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis? If you go to a gut doctor (Gastroenterologist- who are all very smart and well intentioned), chances are they will just recommend a medication…. 💊 Without getting to the root cause of your issues… A medication like a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) for reflux… (serious side effects) A laxative for constipation…. An antimotility drug for diarrhea… Immune suppressive medications for Crohn’s or Ulcerative colitis (or even surgery!)…. While these interventions may help with symptoms they DO NOT get to the root cause of the issues…🧐 I strongly believe that in the MAJORITY of cases, these conditions are caused by FOOD! This means that they are reversible and easily fixed with more intentional food choices…. 👊 But most gut doctors won’t tell you this…. It’s simply not how we are trained as doctors… And this is tragic because so many of you will continue to suffer! I know today is Thanksgiving, and that many of you will be eating whatever you want…. But know that if you have gut issues being intentional with what you eat could make a HUGE difference, start tomorrow if you have to! 👊👊 What do I believe are the best foods for humans to eat? The foods your ancestors have sought preferentially for hundreds of thousands of years: organs, meat, fruit, honey and (more recently) raw dairy… = #animalbased
This happened to me. Stomach pain and hungry all the time. Gastro said had yeast infection in esophagus. Put me on med for anti fungal. Didn’t work. Went to CN who told me test PH. Acid off the chart high. He said most likely yeast was caused by reflux med. Went on 75% alkaline diet for a few months (strict no sugar). Reflux, etc. corrected itself.
Because if they tell us food you can change what you eat and heal yourself and they won’t make any money, but if they give you some medical term their cash register will start ringing and never stop.
100%. Back when i still ate grains and processed junk i constantly had bead breath, tonsile stones, heart burn (real bad). That all went away with clean keto. When i eliminated leafy greens the gas and bloating was gone as well.

I no longer have any reverence for the medical system. They are woefully weak in so many areas. Heck, most don't even read their own literature. Very sad. Let food be thy medicine. Take a good day journal and start removing daily food offenders. Cardiac doc told my 80 year mother she must get the jab or she would die. She cried, stood up and walked out. She never took his advice and as she watched 3 of her close friends pass not long after the vaxxx..she knows she made the right decision
diabetes is reversible. You have to dig deeper into it to find your answers. I would suggest searching for “a healthy alternative” on RUclips by Chris James to start your journey. Many testimonials about reversing diabetes.

I can confirm, after spending a good 10 ish years experimenting on myself, I have done many diets, all meat, all veg, all fish and rice diets. I found dramatic changes in my health. I’ve cut out fast foods like McDonald’s and unless I can see what’s in the food I either thoroughly wash and rinse or consider the % of oils and other fats that might be in the foods I eat. Now 2 years into my gym fitness routine and I can boast an incredible strength for my weight and size. I cannot stress enough do not allow some medical professional who has a piece of paper saying he knows what’s best for you. Don’t be lazy stop making them god figures in your life and take responsibility for your health. No Jesus is coming to save you from you eating poorly. We all have a choice in what we stuff our faces with. You’re not a victim you are in control. Just take it one step at a time. You got this! 👍

I was told I have esophogitis eosinophilia, pardon me if I spelled that wrong I’ve got a mix of Spanish and English going on that sometimes I’ve forgotten English. Anyway, all cuz I’ve had a tough time eating a few items, most notably red meat, but I’m talking like big chunks of meat, which I’ll come back too. They diagnosed me with this condition and put me on a PPI, then with the combination of time, logical thinking, trial, and then finally coming across Paul here along with the other carnivore docs I came to the realization that I’m perfectly healthy! I also take smaller bites and chew my food super good, and now I don’t choke on my food, take any meds and all I eat is meat and sometimes a lil fruit here and there!
They love the fact that you're walking by the doctor's office talking s*** about going to the doctor. Also why are you walking around like you got to take a s***?
I think food is a big part of the puzzle, however the microbiome you have inherited would be the other part. I do feel a few notches better on red meat and I've even done strict carnivore with no eggs and dairy however stomach pains and mental health issues still persist. It's a spectrum, some people can do well with just dietary change alone, others might need to cross their fingers for advancement in bacterial transplants etc. I'm just one of the unlucky ones.
Food additives, medications, and anything foreign to our bodies can be devastating as well. From my own experience, I had to cut out everything to be healthy.
I had my gallbladder removed and pancreatic surgery 8 years ago. This has effected my digestion. I limit my dairy intake, but I do use kefir and pickles to reset my digestion. I also use papaya, honey and milk as a shake once a week for breakfast( it does wonders). Don’t give up. Remember, we inherit diets and lifestyle. I occasionally use anis seed for tea. It also helps( occasionally).
@@emha172 My stomach wasn't making enough acid to digest my food, but without testing they assumed I was making too much acid so put me on PPI's suppressing the little acid my stomach made. As a result I developed a bleed through my intestines and out my rear end so bad that they had to give me 3 units of blood and a pill once a day that costs $10,000 each to stop the internal bleeding caused by no acid to breakdown the food.
From my experience, It's not bullsh!t. I drink a tablespoon with 2-3 oz of water, 15-20 before a meal and I experience better digestion (much less bloating/gas). Also, drinking it daily helps regulate blood sugar. Plus, it's very important to find out what are your trigger foods, like mine is cheese, so stopped eating it for a while and my digestion got better.

Oh well!
I listen to what you say ! I have been looking for you .Thank you for being so honest..
Very true. PPI’a destroyed my stomach for a couple years
Yep I can attest to this from my own personal experience suffering from reflux for many years
Telling someone to change their diet won't pay for the Dr's lifestyle!!
Yes.. Ayurveda has a holistic approach towards all life style diseases..It considers that gut issues are main cause of all life style diseases..
Why no olive oil?
Do you have issues with your gut?
Reflux? Gas and bloating? Pain? Constipation? Diarrhea? IBS? Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis?
If you go to a gut doctor (Gastroenterologist- who are all very smart and well intentioned), chances are they will just recommend a medication…. 💊
Without getting to the root cause of your issues…
A medication like a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) for reflux… (serious side effects)
A laxative for constipation….
An antimotility drug for diarrhea…
Immune suppressive medications for Crohn’s or Ulcerative colitis (or even surgery!)….
While these interventions may help with symptoms they DO NOT get to the root cause of the issues…🧐
I strongly believe that in the MAJORITY of cases, these conditions are caused by FOOD!
This means that they are reversible and easily fixed with more intentional food choices…. 👊
But most gut doctors won’t tell you this…. It’s simply not how we are trained as doctors…
And this is tragic because so many of you will continue to suffer!
I know today is Thanksgiving, and that many of you will be eating whatever you want….
But know that if you have gut issues being intentional with what you eat could make a HUGE difference, start tomorrow if you have to! 👊👊
What do I believe are the best foods for humans to eat? The foods your ancestors have sought preferentially for hundreds of thousands of years: organs, meat, fruit, honey and (more recently) raw dairy… = #animalbased
yes. i have some of these😞
I recently had a camera down my throat and they saw evidence of bleeding on my stomach lining, i’m in the UK and can’t afford to choose my doctor.
What about gastroparesis?
So spot on!!!!
Because if they tell us food you can change what you eat and heal yourself and they won’t make any money, but if they give you some medical term their cash register will start ringing and never stop.
i feel like we need a remix when Everytime md says food liver guy will be split screen saying more
Simple fix. Do a 7 to 10 day bone broth fast.
Speaking the truth everyday in your videos bro! 🔥🔥🔥
My stomach is so calm on clean carnivore. Fruits, unfortunately, give me bloating.
A LOT of “medicine” does this. Hurts you more to bring you back. I’m not sure how people aren’t aware of this.
Had some bad acid reflux lately.
Literally watching while on the toilet
Unnecessary tmi
Hope it was a solid one...
@@Zakaryyah that's what I was going to say. If he follows Dr. Paul he's good if he follows Taco Bell well then.........
100%. Back when i still ate grains and processed junk i constantly had bead breath, tonsile stones, heart burn (real bad). That all went away with clean keto. When i eliminated leafy greens the gas and bloating was gone as well.
So what did you eat? I thought leafy greens was part of a clean keto diet.
True. In UK it's like it.
If anything find a naturopath instead
Thank you so much for your persistent efforts , Dr.Paul🙏👍👍 admire your intelligence and respect your enlightening people to " the reality " around us. Without you our family couldn't have this much big confidence about what we have known. All thanks to you we can say we are right with confidence and convince people to do as well. God bless you more 🙏👍👍❤️💚
I no longer have any reverence for the medical system.
Bro speaking for our life 💀❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great videos keep educating the people and keep up the great work! 👍
Yes !!! That happened to me. I have seen two gastroenterologist … one colonoscopy before 40 , and two endoscopies … YES !! ITS FOOD.
Thanks Doctor
I wish your videos were available 25 years ago, I probably wouldn,t have had diabetes. Thanks.
diabetes is reversible. You have to dig deeper into it to find your answers. I would suggest searching for “a healthy alternative” on RUclips by Chris James to start your journey. Many testimonials about reversing diabetes.
It's still curable, try homeopathy !if it's costly in your country then you can try to find an Indian doctor online, someone who is reliable!
AIP Autoimmune Paleo protocol diet can help a lot.
Raw Yogurt & cultured Cheese for some people (no allergic issues) can help with better sleep and better breath.
Bro mine just told me my issues are because I am getting older. LIKE WTF?!?!? You studied for years and that’s all you can tell me??? Then she said “drink MiraLAX”
Didn’t bother to ask me about my lifestyle, what I eat, how much I’m drinking… NOTHING 🤡
Do you drink? I crave beer every now n then. 😳
Celiacs began when I had a baby at 30. DNA verified. Doctors said they couldn't help me. I take supplements nettles sometime before I eat a meal with wheat. Miracle ! I did suffer 30 years until I found nettles.💩💩💩💩
Had horrible acid reflux, wake up choking at night.changed to a more animal based diet and rarely even have heartburn.
💯💯💯
This guy actually cares about us and if you can't see that then I pray you one day will. (He's not selling you anything, just being informative)
The Dr. Beast 👍👌🏼 love your videos brother very inspiring God bless you
Had acid reflux since I was a child. Went to so many gi doctors no one helped just gave me antacids. I took them sometimes. Never went away but I got it under control by eating smarter smaller and less fried and processed foods
Thanks!
I just started on pro and pre biotics. Cutting out gluten, I feel better than I have in months!!!! Note: is been a week in vitamins, 3 days with out any issues!
I used to have horrendous intestinal pain as a kid. I would sit on the toilet crying for hours. Ever since I changed my diet I honestly can’t remember the last time I had GI pain
Changed your diet how?
i’m so ill… ten years. i’ve went animal based for 3 to 4 years BBBE, keto before that. and still have high blood pressure, depression and really bad IBSfor the last 10years😩
could it be ur mental health?
Try meat + fruit + organs. Try different salt concentrations. And throw away any vitamin pills you may take. For me it was the Zinc/Magnesium pills that had me going for 2 years. Finally figured it out…And try giving it time. It helped me a lot after 6 months
It could be your vitamin/mineral intake i know depression is caused by low vitamin D levels.
Maybe it’s your Psyche? Maybe thought about that ?
@@mateblaga not your ass again?!!!
i have IBS and i can Say most of the doctor Say you can eat whatever you want but it's BS, i cutted out lactose and gluten, i'm still having problem but less than before in reguard of bloating and gas, btw diet Is only a small part of the issues, fix your lifestyle, you gotta be stress free
It's the foods and also the drinks... beer contains loads of yeast and can cause extreme bloating/ fizzy drinks (sugar of course) and wine.
Wow, I guess I will never have beer again.
That's why you should always check what the doctors do/suggest
I had nasal issues for so long, sinuses always plugged... Ear nose and throat doctor wanted me to use Nadal spray 2-6 times a day and use a netty pod once a week... I did some research into nasal breathing and mouth taping at night. Within 2 weeks my sinuses opened up... there not perfect but they are a hell of alot better then they were...
Have you tried raw kefir?
Food additives, medications, and anything foreign to our bodies can be devastating as well. From my own experience, I had to cut out everything to be healthy.
Add raw yolks to your diet.
parasites
I had my gallbladder removed and pancreatic surgery 8 years ago. This has effected my digestion. I limit my dairy intake, but I do use kefir and pickles to reset my digestion. I also use papaya, honey and milk as a shake once a week for breakfast( it does wonders).
Don’t give up. Remember, we inherit diets and lifestyle. I occasionally use anis seed for tea. It also helps( occasionally).
Changing my diet did help with IBS significantly. But there are those days where I will flare for no reason still.
Gastrologists almost killed me with those PPI's.
How is that possible to get killed by this
@@emha172 My stomach wasn't making enough acid to digest my food, but without testing they assumed I was making too much acid so put me on PPI's suppressing the little acid my stomach made. As a result I developed a bleed through my intestines and out my rear end so bad that they had to give me 3 units of blood and a pill once a day that costs $10,000 each to stop the internal bleeding caused by no acid to breakdown the food.
@@FundedFuturesTrader sue them never go near doctors again
This nurse agrees with you 100%
If you’ve got baby momma drama, ITS FOOD
I shed a tear😢
Also bile reflux can be mistaken for acid reflux because the symptoms are the same and PPIs don't work on bile reflux.
You are awesome Doc👍👍👍
Can you make a video about applecider vinegar, is it bullshit or not bullshit, thanksss in advance 💪💪💪
@@emmanuelking9988 thanksss for sharing brother, glad it helps you!!

Damn right. I quit all these doctors. I quit all my mess 2 years ago. I'm all carnivore and a little keto.
Agree. Used to go to a gastroenterologist once a month… hooked me up on medicine. Food can cure any illness. Especially protein
cut FODMAPS out for bloating
I was told the cow I fed from was grass fed to then find out he meant the word grass in the slang way. Turned out my cow was high as a kite eating cannabis. The food helped rid the sugar addictions I had but now my reflex is much slower and I stutter my words and have a lisp. I’m basically mike Tyson with special needs.
The gastronuraligist in his office hearing you talk smack about them: 👁️👄👁️
I just made an appointment today and now I see this video Paul can you help me with my gut issues? And body ?
I used to have diarrhea and tonsil stones all the time. I went to so many doctors and tried so many meds. Then i decided to cut out refined grains, sugars, junk food and guess what… cured. How easy was that?!
“Sir this is a handicapped public restroom.”
i’ve had serious gut issues my whole life (chronic gut pain etc.). it was only until the last year where i learned that if i stick to a really bland and simple diet most my problems go away; such that if i avoid high fibre foods, onion and garlic, and most greens, close to all of my problems go away. only issue is, this diet obviously isn’t sustainable from a health perspective. but every direction i turn people are constantly insisting i blindly take their magic gut powder and it infuriates me as that snake oil has only lead to wrong diagnosis and made my symptoms worse in the past. which direction would you point me?
“Gastroneurologist” lmao what
Love it . Eat your heart out . Thank you so much you’ve helped me in my life so much. Beef livers , heart and grass fed and finished ribeyes. Yum
