u really should have mentioned the movement comes from your top wrist not ur bottom wrist. thats i huge problem i noticed when i started playing ball hockey, they chop at the ball not stickhandle

Newbie here, what’s the reasoning for not taping all the way around the blade of the stick? This guy only taped forehand side of the blade.
I know it can be based on preference, but wondering if there’s any other reason why someone would tape their stick like that?

On the dek, the tape creates a ton of friction with the plastic. So if you want grip on the ball, but not slow your blade down with friction, you gotta tape it like that.
