Finally a pitch without someone whining, sulking and crying about their sickness, bad fortune etc. Love this guy.
I presume this is sarcasm, very nicely done
Did you watch the video?!
@@jptiger773 No
It's an oldie
Between 3:33 and 3:40 the opposite is mentioned.
Massive respect to this man, even if his books weren’t great he showed how neurodiversity can be an asset not a curse and delivered one of the best pitches I’ve ever seen!
If he did have neurodiversity he wouldn't (simply couldn't) be standing there on TV.
Too many creeps going aeound claiming disability.
All he's doing is selling clothes - the reason he can't grow anymore is that ALL the clothes makers ALREADY make XL, XXL and XXXL clothing.
He's created nothing new and certainly not a USP by patting himself on the back and telling everyone and anyone that he suffers from autism.
LOL.
Our trusted leadership of society says all out of ordinary is a curse, a diagnosis, a diability. Its crazy
@@jolin8493 They have to make up some sort of story to try and get the people's attention, so how's about strongly exaggerating some small mishap that some fool doctor diagnosed for lack of anything else.
Pitiful.
But hey: He came ion for an investment and he got one. It's all in the art of selling your story and making it "credible". Nothing else.
*neurodivergence
@@davidcoen9021 BS - It's a story that supports his pitch. Just like all of them.
You see so many pitchers fumbling over even the most basic numbers of their business but this man had full control and gave them straight answers every time. Props for that.
I can tell you autism is such a struggle for all. Some have the ability to thrive of it and this individual is so highly intelligent it’s so beautiful to see.
What a generic bot response.
your response is a lot more botty@@BenjaminGoose
He did a great job representing himself.
Can you really? You can says that on behalf of ALL AUTISTIC PEOPLE WORLDWIDE?!
No you damn well can't.
First of all, there are many autistic people who are very happy indeed with being autistic.
Secondly, I recommend that you read about the social model of disability.
If you’re successful, no one cares about your autism
This lad is amazing he has a mind of steel and aimed for the stars
One of the best pitches I've ever seen. What a guy.
Shame his company is in liquidation 💀
Oh my God. I’m so happy for him. This are the kind of stories I can spend my entire day listening to instead of negative and toxic media
That’s the kinda a man you need running a company. Very straightforward and not afraid to put ‘the truth’ out there (taking the hit). Impressive.
Just hire autistics for every occasion, we do a great job and we're VERY focused..
What? His understanding of economy obviously was out the window.
That’s his autism (genuinely) Elon Musk is also autistic, when it’s high functioning, these people are unrivalled in their intelligence and efficiency
Love it I wish him luck 👏
@@Gonken88he may have flawed business application but his knowledge of all his business numbers is far greater than 90"% of what we see on the show.just needs a little coaching is all
I got autism and I don't lie when I say that I wanted to see another member of the community in dragons den.
Same here this is the first episode that's made me cry lol
You haven't 'got' autism, you are autistic.
I have autism and I couldn’t give less of a fook. Some of the greatest minds in history were on the spectrum - if anything, we have the advantage. Of course a hyper obsessive individual is going to be successful? I enjoy watching the normal folk attempt to succeed instead.
No one "gets" autism, you're born with it.
😂👏@@wedontexist369
This guy has seen so much aspects of life while continuously being 3-0 down. At his lowest point he thought ‘I have nothing to lose now’ and just turned the story around. What an inspiration. You have won in life brother ❤️
I also have autism and function similar to this man. loved seeing this so much. Inspiring.
Touker to the rescue. Thank you Touker for giving him a go. Awesome.
lets goo
Touka always know what to do💚
One of the best pitch I’ve seen on here. And Steven, I see what you did there.
Shoutout to Steven!
Nobody cares. This pitch is boring
This guy's character is rock solid and straightforward like no other. Impressive!
Nerves of steel, no bullshit and simple
honesty
This shows the talent in neurodiversity. It is important society becomes awake. Thankfully, there are large organisations who have changed their HR processes to invite such talent but there is a long way to go !!!
Stigma going away finally. Whilst some neurodivergent people can unfortunately be a ‘burden’ to a company and sometimes hired just to fill quotas. Others can perform much better than colleagues with the correct support in place.
I'd love to be his friend. Got plenty of time for blokes like him.
lol
😂😂😂😂😂
How is this comment funny?dude is clearly a sound guy and the original commentator clearly meant that.
You’re life is depressing
Clean and beautiful. When you enter the den with an objective and you get it do not get greedy, valued the right person and he did read the room perfectly. Well done
Hugely impressive pitch straight talking, straight answers, knew his numbers. His autism hadn’t hindered him at all, very impressive guy.
I highly respect this man. Indeed it was a great pitch despite when the balance sheet came out. So pleased Touker made an offer.
🙏🙏 I have lots of health problems and all I can tell u guys out there is be positive and fight for what u want, I neally died three times and I am still here, Be positive and u will succeed in life 🙏🙏
Inspiring fella
Lovely to hear the dragons say nice things to a well deserved person hope he continues to do well
Great guy with a great heart. Great example to all entrepreneurs on how to properly pitch and not mumble. A lot of respect goes to him. 👏👏👏
this was a good one, one of the best pitches i've seen on this show
Well said don't let anyone stand in your way ✅
Absolutely proud of him for this. I won't let this anxiety I struggle with stop me.
Amen get it 🎉
What a powerhouse man ... The guys made it and hes proper confident..
Inspiring story,well done sir.
Great guy good to see a straight talker
Lol people don’t talk straight do they ?
This guy is an inspiration,
Straightforward right to the point,
Bravo.👏👏👏
Holy smoke, man... keep going, you're doing amazing! Also, really striking look you been in a music video or so?
Now this is the guy you need to represent us Autistics!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
yeah someone who inherited a million quid almost and started a business............ if he did it from scratch you would have a point
He is autistic but presented perfectly much better than I would and remembered all his numbers, they often say it's people with some sort of disabilities that are amazing at other things
That's because autism at this level is hardly a disability - it's just a behaviorial difference. Like someone might be inclined to aggression, or a crybaby.
You dont have a clue what you're talking about, im guessing you're a teenager @@iFireender
What a great guy, best of luck to him!
What an inspiring guy, what an amazing story of persistence and determination. I wish Ben and Touker much success.
Probably the best episode I’ve seen. So pleased he got an investment. I hope he finds success.
Simple, straight & effective, no messing around bosh! 💰
i would love to work with this man. Autism isnt stopping this man. hes amazing, polite, and just an inspiration
Fantastic pitch what a man, I've never been so pleased to see someone get a investment.
That is a man on a mission. He will succeed no doubt
Absolutely phenomenal entrepreneur and pitch! I really admire his story, his presentation, his calm and just so happy he got the investment from the investor he wanted! Well done Ben! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Lad is sensational
Relax.
@@hmq9052people have lost their minds
Well done Tuka, your a class act and Im sure you will do well out of that investment in so many ways.
I can't decide if he was unlucky because he has autism, or he was lucky because he was left hundreds of thousands my his grandad. I think most people in his shoes would have wasted all that money. Good on him!
Having autism is not always unlucky, it can be a super power.
autism is also a superpower! props to the guy for doing such a great job in the den
It can be an advantage in a lot of ways. Attention to detail, deep focus, observation skills, absorbing and retaining facts, visual skills, expertise, methodical approaches, novel approaches and creativity are all areas in which Autists excel.
this is my favorite entrepreneur EVER in this show...
Very inspirational from someone having autism. I'm really really impressed. Well done Touker for giving him a chance. I also love how he didnt hesitate to accept Touker's offer.
that was brilliant
Watched loads of these and this guy has to be one of the best pitches 👏🏻👏🏻
Fantastic Tucker 🎉❤🎉❤
What a Great lad !
Well done - so inspiring!!
Love it. Great work TK
A lot of respect for this man...we know Tuker was throwing him a lifeline but he deserves it
What a truly nice man he is !
Crunching those numbers on the balance sheet just boggles my mind.😮
One of the few segments where Touker is the sole investor!😅
My grandson has WAGR syndrome and autism. I love him to bits and I’m always impressed by his view on life and how he sees things so differently .
The only thing that I absolutely infuriates me is when adults who should know better and kids bully him.
If Granny ever gets to witness this ,then I wouldn’t like to be in their shoes!
Well done and hats off to TS for investing! The guy deserved the business break!
Good luck to you Ben!!
This has to be one of best most inspiring pitches I've ever seen on Dragon's Den. He's a true inspiration & certainly acquitted himself well despite suffering from anxiety among other things.
Thats the kind of man we need to run the country.
Just looked at his records. Touker didnt join him. Certainly not on paper records. How sad. Im sure it would have worked. And best wishes to the young man for his tenacity and efforts.
he is a nervous wreck by his own admission, he wouldnt last a day
Big respect to this bloke 👌🏽 nothing kept him down and now his smashing it , well done fella 👍🏼🙏🏽
Best ever !! Great dude!!
Ben has earned our respect.
Nobody cares
He was asking 150,000 for 10% and ended up giving away 35%. That is wild, giving away a whole quarter of the company more than expected. I hope he does well though.
love dragons den ..more than shark tank
Shark is chaotic show because everyone interrupts everyone.
Americans prefer dramatic music to intelligent conversation
@@paulleadbeater480what are you talking about
@@DJcyberslash watch shark tank, compare it to dragon's den and you'll see
Agreed
I love the fact Laurence Shahlaei is a brand ambassador! That guy needed it, competing in WSM
And thats how its done A nigh on perfect pitch
Loved this episode!
what an inspiration ,
ihave enormous respect for this gentleman
Even if the balance sheet is not in perfect condition, 150k for 35% severely dilutes the founder’s stock. It seemed like they set it up perfectly to back him into a corner.
Best of luck
Well done for everything you have done so far
Why’s Steven writing poetry?
Bro snuck in some Bane references into his company, he's legit
The mind is a powerfull thing!! He wasnt scared or intimidated one bit...fairplay mate well done im proud of you 👏
God bless this man!!!
What an inspiring man. Wishes you best of luck!
All the best my friend you deserve
What I see from this, is that people actually like autism in people. Makes me feel positive for my future.
What an inspiration this guy is!
Not taking anything away from this guy but, having autism and making something in life is one thing, but having a Grandad that leaves you a pretty big wedge is another.
Kudos to him making a succesful business whilst having autism and suffering from what sounds like a troubled childhood. But the hundreds of thousands of pounds he got in a trust fund made this possible.
ah man what a lovely bloke
What a great guy. Very good business
So happy for him! Amazing and so inspirational! With Tuka he will definitely be going places!
35%!!! i feel so sorry for the guy.
Best pitch ever !!!
I'm an autistic person going through tough times. I needed to see this soooooo badly today.
I hope things get better soon for you ❤
So refreshing. His authenticity is so grounding. I hope his business flies to the stars
Ben's a nice guy
Shame they filed for voluntary liquidation at the end of 2023, hope Ben is doing ok.
He definitely deserves to make a big success
I'm going to start buying all my clothes from this guy. He is brilliant.
The best episode I have seen!
Indeed a great pitch.
I replayed Peter taking the balance sheet apart - genius. But the den belonged to Ben 😊
The pitch was brilliant😊
Couldn’t help but notice Steve Bartlett looking like he’s holding a laugh
Love this guy.
Incredibly inspirational man and well done Touker
