Sir i had done MSc Physics with 67% ... I had done NET/SET coaching class of 6 months before a year.... But i cleared MSc just now in pandemics..... I am feeling like to leave NET SET preparation and join any banking sector to get fast govt. Job.....

@@domination5785 In India, the scope of the field is very narrow. I was always open to the possibility that I might have to give up Physics as a career and hence I did. You have to be in the top 1% of the students in the competitive exams you write. Then, you might be able to get into one of the highly reputed GFTIs for Physics such as IISc or IISER's. If not, you have to wait till the end of your bachelor's. After getting into these institutes, you might be already half satisfied with your career unless you aren't worrying about the financial benefits. You probably won't be making anything significant in terms of money. The level of encouragement is very low even in the society. You might be happy if you become a professor of a university. But that too is hard considering the competition. So, life is a struggle in Physics. But so is it elsewhere. Just know that statistically, you won't end up being a rich, famed scientist in India unless you are extraordinarily good.
