What were animal reactions to the solar eclipse? Columbus Zoo and Aquarium conducting study.

During the 2024 solar eclipse, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium hosted more than 7,000 guests for its "Solar-Bration."
But while guests, and humans across Ohio, were looking up at the sky Monday, some researchers at the Columbus Zoo were looking at the animals and watching how they reacted to the solar eclipse - if they reacted at all.
It was a rare opportunity for scientists to observe and analyze how various species react to the phenomenon, offering valuable insights into their natural behaviors and responses to celestial events.
