Chris/Amanda - We are still in awe of running into you at the Maharaja Jungle Trek (always thought it would be in CA)! Thank you for being so generous with your time and visiting with us. You both are as grounded and approachable in-person as on video. Your fans, Paul, Terri and Alec!
I remember the good old days when you had paper fast passes. My parents and I enjoyed the walkway on the back of the tree (Asia side). You can walk under a waterfall and see a lot of beautiful animals. We decided to rest opposite some bird display when a family with 2 kids and a baby rushed by, I think the mother was called Karin as she looked the part. The 2 older kids stopped at the bird display in awe of the beauty of the animals when they aggressively where pulled away by the mom. They needed to be on time for the safari and there was no time to watch some bird, she screamed. Dads eyes where dead, pushing the baby cart and probably wishing he was back at the office as the children where forcefully pulled away, sadness in their eyes. It was the saddest thing I had ever see, take the time to enjoy your vacation, always.
Thank you, Miles!! Loved hearing your precious voice, from days gone by, showcasing your vlogging skills and at such a young age. Amazing!! Thanks again for joining your dad with your incredible musical skills during the patreon roll call. So talented!! You so totally rock, duuuuuuude!! ❤
Chris, this is actually a really valuable video. They’re always entertaining and fun to watch, but this video is a reminder and reset on how to spend your time at the parks. When my kids were young we lived in Jacksonville, and took our sons to the parks a lot. I mean, a lot. It always seemed like we hadn’t had a successful visit unless we rode as many rides as possible, or we hadn’t met our parent obligations.🤦🏼♀️. We live closer now, and my kids are grown. My husband and I go all the time, and my biggest regret is not slowing down, enjoying the moments, and focusing on the quality of the trip, not the ride count. This video really shows how parents can refocus on how to spend time in the parks when it’s crowded. As passholders, we have the luxury to turn around and leave. If you drove or flew, this is how you can rethink your visit. And I hope people see this video and realize it’s really important to enjoy the moments with family and friends. Half the time my husband and I go, we just walk around and enjoy the view. Going to Epcot tonight for dinner at Biergarten, and probably won’t ride rides again. Still love it. I hope you continue to show parents how many wonderful ways kids and parents can enjoy these parks when crowds are causing horrible ride time delays. There are a lot of fun things to do still.
I really needed to see a video from you today. We had to put our kitty down. She was 17 yrs old. Watching you brought a much needed smile to my face. I do miss our car chats and seeing Cabo. Thanks for the great pep talk. It was much needed today.
I’ve got three half days at AK coming up in February. I’m hoping to get a hint of Pandora after dark before I’m kicked out. Miles is going to be running the channel in a couple of more years!
Your mom reminds me of mine, so fun and enthusiastic at Disney. And they both like classic fantasyland rides (from your previous video at DL). Happy new year!
Chris, Tell your niece I wish her good luck in the pageant! I remember going to see It's Tough to Be a Bug, while the rest of my family went on Everest. I thought it was cute; my family found it scary-ish. 😆 Little Miles reminds me of my little cousin, when he was like 2(?) we went to the aquarium in Tennessee, and when he saw the otters, he thought the family cat was happily swimming around. 😆And now the otters squeaking have got my birds chirping. 😄
In the State of Washington in the Cascade Mountains there's a Hydroelectric dam that back in its earlier days had a very interesting tourist attraction. The Ross lake has a tiny land mass off shore that the Seattle City Lights electric utility would exhibit monkeys during the day and at the end of the day the caretakers would gather them up and put them in their overnight facilities. To this day the island is referred to as 'Monkey Isle'.
Not exactly the same, but they have a specaial with DCA's Tough To Be A Bug from the first year of Disneyland's California Advenutre. I'm sure someone has a copy you can download and use parts of.
besides Pandora, my only trip March 2010 I got to experiance Tough to be a bug, Dinosaur, son was too small for primeval swirl coaster yet tall enough for Expedition Everest. Including the Safari Trek and the zoo around the Trek area. Was too cold for the water ride in March at 50°. Though to be a bug is usually a Muppet Vision 3d wait at times. They will extened the wait time just to fill some seats from watching vloggers and videos over the past decade plus.
Hi Chris, we went to Animal Kingdom two weeks ago and really enjoyed the shows and rides. One of my grandchildren ride 4 times Dinosaur, the other (with me) two times Everest (in my opinion, the best line in all 6 theme parks, including Anaheim). By the way, the animal that looks like a dinosaur at 1:44 is a Pangolin. Its tough to be a Bug is great but my youngest grandchild was scared but Kilimanjato Safaris was the best for him. With Avatar, the paths with animals, Everest, the fantastic Indian train, its a magnificent park and the one that I prefer. Greetings from Mexico and the best for 2025
Hearing people scream during It's Tough to be a Bug never gets old 😆 We're rooting for your niece ✨

My favorite of you guys and what got me hooked is your mom enjoying Volcano Bay. Get me me back in that river 😂.
That was such a fun day. 💚💚💙💙
Yay, great to see mama Provost aka Ms. Mimi. Missed seeing her. She needs to be on the videos more often.

He's gotten so much better at recording now, but this was great to see even if it did make me a little sick

That sounds like a really unique story!

I just don't understand why they are taking it out. I love seeing it every time I go to Animal Kingdom.
Hard to believe there were massive crowds at AK. Must have been overflow.
Are you going to post Niece playing the harp? Even if it's not in the competiton everyone might like to see

Sounds great!
I would subscribe and watch more videos by Miles for sure 🎉 good job lil buddy!
It was really cool to meet you (San Diego Padres fan)
It was my absolute pleasure
Apps have less choices. We have that problem at Burger King. My husband wants onion rings and I want Cherry Coke, but there's no option for that.
Great video! Love the Miles Cam!
Thanks! He makes the best cameos.
Man, I wish I had known you were in Florida. I would have loved to meet you. Love the videos.
That would have been fun! Maybe next time.
