I wish I had given them a chonce instead of calling them stupid when I was little just because everybody said they were for girls. Yes, you’re right :( I remember that when I went to this tour (in Arizona) both my sister and I realized that he looked very unhappy. Of course, at that moment no one had a clue that he wanted to leave but looking back on it it was clear something was wrong.
I heard he looked sad because he was forced to stay in the band and at this time he was suffering anxiety and later anorexia thats also one of the reason he left the band later
Dearest Zayn, I know you didn't feel happy about the music and the band environment in the last few months of your 1D time. You definitely deserved to choose what you loved to do. But, please don't call the music you guys made generic and bland. It was beautiful music and it was what gave support, strength, a sense of belonging and sometimes a gateway to escape the suffering of reality for millions of us fans. If you wanted to make a different kind of music that would appeal to a different section of audience and would relate to your experiences and raw expressions of love and life, that's okay. That is another kind of music. That doesn't make 1D songs generic. Because there is no one superior audience over other. As Harry said once, who says teenage girls are unrealistic fans? They're the future doctors, artists, nurses, engineers, writers etc and they are a beautiful audience. They're as much relevant and real as the older ones who consider themselves more refined and mature when they can't be as free and fierce in their actions. I love your solo songs, i love 1d songs. I hope you can look at the past without contempt. We all love you.

Yes, you’re right :( I remember that when I went to this tour (in Arizona) both my sister and I realized that he looked very unhappy. Of course, at that moment no one had a clue that he wanted to leave but looking back on it it was clear something was wrong.
I heard he looked sad because he was forced to stay in the band and at this time he was suffering anxiety and later anorexia thats also one of the reason he left the band later

Dearest Zayn, I know you didn't feel happy about the music and the band environment in the last few months of your 1D time. You definitely deserved to choose what you loved to do. But, please don't call the music you guys made generic and bland. It was beautiful music and it was what gave support, strength, a sense of belonging and sometimes a gateway to escape the suffering of reality for millions of us fans. If you wanted to make a different kind of music that would appeal to a different section of audience and would relate to your experiences and raw expressions of love and life, that's okay. That is another kind of music. That doesn't make 1D songs generic. Because there is no one superior audience over other. As Harry said once, who says teenage girls are unrealistic fans? They're the future doctors, artists, nurses, engineers, writers etc and they are a beautiful audience. They're as much relevant and real as the older ones who consider themselves more refined and mature when they can't be as free and fierce in their actions. I love your solo songs, i love 1d songs. I hope you can look at the past without contempt. We all love you.
