a true legend his docs are the most original and terrifying experiences out there from 1967 titicu follies to 2016 in jackson heights 50 years and still going
Mr. Wiseman has one unreleased film, called "The Garden," about Madison Square Garden during 1998. Wiseman shot ball games and other entertainment held in the arena, and also some close-door meetings of MSG executives. It was due to those meetings that MSG objected to the film being shown, and Wiseman wouldn't budge, and wouldn't delete anything from the film. The two sides couldn't reach a deal, and the film was pulled one day before its Sundance premiere. To this day, the film is still in limbo. You can Google for a 2005 New Yorker article for more detail. I emailed Mr. Wiseman recently and he said there still had been no progress in having the film shown.
A true inspiration to all of us in the documentary community!

Such a relief to see you still care about masterful filmmaking.
I know it's unrelated, but when are you going to upload this year's Oscars?
