minus 10 to Vicki and Ricco,, you COMPLETELY MISSED the greatest feature I have ever seen.... you can actually pilot this ship from the fly deck AND bartend for guests AT THE SAME TIME. This boat has made me completely rethink my design standards.
"to "what" the boat"??? Did Rico really just say "To helm the boat"? Helm is a noun, not a bloody verb, you can not helm a boat. You take the helm, you can sit at the helm but you can't "helm" anything. You can steer, pilot, command, skipper or captain but you can't helm! With that pet peeve out of the way, nice boat. A lovely old classic that would make one heck of a liveaboard and she's a credit to those who have maintained her over the years. Pity she runs Detroits, the fuel bill will be eye-watering. Detroits are great, reliable engines but two strokes use a fair bit of the old go juice.
@NautiStyles This video can help you guys fix comment spam: ruclips.net/video/zo_uoFI1WXM/видео.html Sadly I don't think there is a channel mod feature on YT so you might have to do it your self each time you purge the spam comments.... but there might be more tools added since this video like 9 months ago. :)
I'm really looking forward to the video about how much it costs to own one of these boats I hope you do both the small end and large end (I think you said in your last video that was 499ft) and maybe the average size (what ever that is) And include the repainting it every 7 years or what ever to keep barnacles from forming on the sides
I grew up around Hatteras Yachts. My Dad worked there when I was a kid. Went onboard many amazing large yachts but this one is a great classic. Beautiful.
My dad owned a company that supplied Hatteras in HP with some specialized products. I always tried to go along with him if he was making a delivery. I loved crawling into the boats in different stages of completion, and I can still remember sitting at the helm of some of those boats as an eight to ten year old thinking that yacht life was something worth looking into when I got older.
I was born and raised in New Bern where Hatteras Yachts were built. Although the company was and still is prone to a lot of layoffs, they build a good quality Boat!
I really like the enclosed cockpit, it’d be great for dining with guests, but also being able to open it up makes it great for multiple uses and conditions.
It’s amazing to see over the months and years how the two of you seem to have grown closer. Your ribbing of each other is similar but is now based on a deeper heart connection.
Very rare I ever make a comment on a boat but a relative of mine helped build that boat back in late 80s early 90sand talked about it even then how wonderful it was
Now THIS is a live aboard. It's comfortable, large enough and built/upgraded for this purpose and clearly not for high seas. Lot of sense, in some details even more than some modern boats. Really impressed by the maintenance - marvellous job, whoever did this.
Hello from Southmont NC. I have 2 friends that worked for Hatteras. A cad designer and a shop foreman. High Point is most known for furniture, but operations were consolidated to the New Bern plant where this boat was built. Quality is the word for Hatteras. My neighbour was the shop person. When I rebuilt my Lightning Class sailboat, I was under the strong arm of the law as to my work. Several jobs had to be done over and over til the boat was " acceptable ". If you own a Hatteras, you own the best of the best. Smooth seas and a quartering wind, oz
When I saw the galley and it looked like a regular kitchen and the double oven, I immediately thought of Family Thanksgiving/Christmas Celebrations. Then when you found the tree.💞 I love this vessel. 🐳🌊⚓💙
I love this boat, I am looking to retire on a yacht just like this. Hopefully its for sale again in 3 years :) Love your channel and good luck on your new Nautihome
You guys blew it outta water on this beauty. So affordable & was loved by her previous owners with great upgrades & pristine maintenance. Looks like the engine room you could eat off the surfaces. Obviously a great captain who takes pride in his/her command.
I am so impressed with the large amount of livable space on this yacht!!! Exceptionally and beautifully maintained. I liked how you addressed issues associated with owning an older live aboard boat. The upgrades were well designed. It’s new owner will be very happy.
I was completely impressed. Another masterpiece you guys. Loved it !! Thanks for sharing. Always great content and editing. We all continue to learn so much from you guys. Cheers !!
Being a fairly new member of the Hatteras Owners Cult, I'm glad you two finally did a review on one and seen why owners put such pride and money in the refits of these fantastic vessels. What a fine example of a classic Hatt.
It is amazing how well “elder” yachts can age so gracefully with loving care. Being a Hatteras commands respect. I won’t be around in 30 years to see your Bering but it too could age gracefully with conscientious owners like you will be.. 😎
Vicky,my dear, you look better every video, and you are aboard one of my favorite yachts from my childhod in the 1960s.My parents had many rich friends. We weren't rich, but we weren't poor either. My brother.andI had a .13'Boston Haler, with a 33 hpevinrude.we also had a Wellcraft 185Airslot,with a 165 hp Mercruiser,We also had an open account at the Savannah Yacht club to keep them running, and keep us lubricated Yeah,we were spoiled, but we were worth it. Thank you for the video
Orange Sunglasses look FIRE🔥 Thank you Ricco for the sneak peak. Please Stock a lot of them when they are released because you guys are going to sell "boat loads" of them.
In the late 80s, I spent many weekends on a brand new U.S. Customs 55' Hattie sport fisher. Nothing compares to sleeping aboard a yacht 60 miles off shore, with the gens & swells lulling you off to dreamland, until your mate wakes you at 4am to relieve him at the radar! I developed a warm spot for Hatteras in those days, and even today, I could see myself living aboard this beauty at Lawrence St. T-Head down in Corpus Christi!
A classic beauty! So well maintained. Lovely salon. I would gladly live onboard this beauty. Love the vibe you two have. You have become such a great team. Keep up all your hard work.
Don’t worry about the smaller oven for your Bering, you can use the gas grill (provided you have one) as an oven for larger items like roasts or turkeys.
I own a Hatteras 36C Sport fisher. She’s a battleship that’s gets me home every time. I re-powered her with Cummins 6CTA 450HP, installed Glendinning controls with pro pilot. New 11Kw Northern lights Gen set. All she needs is new paint and upgrading the V-berth bedding. We Live our HAT!!
I got to say guys, I'm glad that I went and checked back on any possible missed notifications. Very beautiful, well maintained yacht. Thank you for another excellent tour of a beautiful yacht.
Gosh, for a 31 year old boat that is in amazing condition, you can tell somebody has invested alot of time and money in it's upkeep. I would love to live on this full time, thanks very much for the tour.
Hi guys it's nice to be early on a video! As I have said in the past I love your videos. Now this is a nice boat it's affordable it's high quality it's Timeless and Design. I believe the naval architect was John Hargrave. Hatteras's are battleships. Great video thank you
"Voluminous" hey ! Like it, showing of your education there. All the best Reko and Nicki. I mean Vicky. 😉 I really liked that boat. Oh and the steps are a later addition, they came with crome bar steps, more like a ladder.
As refits go, this is one of the most beautiful that I've seen 😀 As for the master en suite, that shower is a good 2.25 Victorias in size 😀 Or 1.9 Ricos 😀
I do not beleive I have ever seen a more desirable vessel. At any price, any size, any age, this one is simply the best in my view. Wow, just wow! What more could you ask for. (While being rational)
Galley thoughts. If you decide on a double sink make both sides equal. And very large. Think, post and pans that can sit flat in the sink. Also, purified water filter spigots.
I LOVE this boat! As owners of a 1980s houseboat, vintage boats can be a bit scary. This one is beautiful! Whomever purchases her will be one very lucky owner. Wish it were me!
So nice, you can tell the owner has just loved that boat. Maintained to the highest spec. Great upgrades and engine room. A perfect example of, you don't need brand new to be stunning and elegant, you just have to love and care for what you have. Hope the next owner loves it the same. Thanks for the tour.
34:37 Those floating aviator sunglasses are a MUST HAVE!! Let us know when they become available. Rico, You Look MARVELOUS...and you KNOW that you do. It is much better to LOOK good than to FEEL good, and You ... Look ... MARVELOUS!!! (a little nod to Billy Crystal, there) 🤩
This pristine Hatteras would be perfect for anyone who travels the Atlantic eastern seaboard. It’s been loved and cared for. Would some nice retirees love this yacht? Indeed.
I'd have to put in a wheelchair lift and maybe move a couple of things around but other than that I'm packing my bags now! 😂 Thanks for showing us this beautiful vessel Victoria and Rico, stay safe 💚

I've only ever been on these boats outfitted for shrimping in the sound and ocean but they are quality boats with a well deserved reputation.
Wow. I was blown away by this boat. I love when you show “affordable” yachts.
awesome!
Now i just have to hit the lottery.
What Maxrotor said. This boat is truly immaculate.
I really like the enclosed cockpit, it’d be great for dining with guests, but also being able to open it up makes it great for multiple uses and conditions.

I love classic. Built to last with preventative maintenance. Lovely!
I totally agree!

Hatteras builds an beautiful yacht and a real classic one to boot. I really appreciate their classic beauty.
Now THIS is a live aboard. It's comfortable, large enough and built/upgraded for this purpose and clearly not for high seas. Lot of sense, in some details even more than some modern boats. Really impressed by the maintenance - marvellous job, whoever did this.
I love how externally it has that classic look, and they did an excellent job on the internals.

They took a classic boat and improved it. Great value.
WOW, WOW, WOW !! (actually I fell asleep watching the tour, no fault of the tour guide, but I'll rewatch !!
Beautiful Yacht !! Classic !!
That thing is gigantic! Really cool. Love the residential kitchen/galley.

Thanks for choosing my favorite color for the sunglass temple pieces!
Any time!
Do you deliver to California and their work cost
Don’t worry about the smaller oven for your Bering, you can use the gas grill (provided you have one) as an oven for larger items like roasts or turkeys.
This Hatteras is The best all around live aboard yet on your channel.
Absolutely stunning. I love looking at mature boats that have so well cared for this is a great live aboard.
It really is!
Mature boats that have so well cared for this is a great live aboard?
@@RandomshitkickeR - So they missed the word “been” so well cared for, you still understood. Typos happen.
What a beautiful launch, fantastically maintained and you two make the tour fun. Thanks and keep up the excellent entertainment.

Classic Beauty ! and the yacht wasn't bad either !!
You guys have me spoiled. I can't watch other boat showings without seeing all the things they are missing. Thanks
Another amazing experience and a beautiful vessel. Thanks for the tour!
Just have to love the dynamic between Rico and Victoria. They have to be fun people to hang out with.
I got to say guys, I'm glad that I went and checked back on any possible missed notifications. Very beautiful, well maintained yacht. Thank you for another excellent tour of a beautiful yacht.
The addon top is brilliant!
What a FANTASTIC boat! 👏👍Top 5 of all the boats you've shown. Love the ambiance.
Enclosed cockpit makes sense in Florida humid climate. Like a heated garage in snow climates. I'm surprised more boats don't have them
Great tour of a nicely maintained yacht! Awesome!! 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
@@NautiStyles 👍👍
That is a really nice live-aboard, love the dining room 😊
This may be the most perfectly bespoke yacht on your channel, that I've seen. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could 👏🏾
Gosh, for a 31 year old boat that is in amazing condition, you can tell somebody has invested alot of time and money in it's upkeep. I would love to live on this full time, thanks very much for the tour.

Did Victoria forget her glasses in the master? Lovely boat great live aboard!
I've been on the hunt for a Hatt and recently thought how great it would be if you two featured one!
yes! so glad we read your mind
This yacht tour was absolutely awesome... such a gorgeous yacht for it's age.....but OMG Rico, the sunglasses....🤣🤣🤣
My neighbor had a 63 Hatteras sport fisher.
His boat was beautiful and I've loved Hatteras since I was a kid growing up on the south shore of LI.
Living area and kitchen like a real home.👍Outtakes 😄👏
LOVE the sunglasses!!!!!! Can't wait to purchase at few pairs. Will be a must have for the family. Oh... oh Christmas gifts
They are the best!!!! a hug from Uruguay and happy 2023!!

Very Impressive and Very looked After, They definitely looked after this Yatch.. Thank you Rico and Victoria, Beautiful ❤️👍🏼
Beautiful classic yacht. Large living spaces. The overall look, style and pristine condition. I can live there for sure...

Right on!
I loved this boat so so much just from the styling, but that engine room's sharpness was amazing. Props to those involved in the upkeep!
WOW! I am finding myself saying wow about all the older boats. There is just something elegantly special about them. Jealous again. Great video.

What a beauty. That galley is very impressive. 👍👍
Very nice boat. The interaction between the 2 of you great.
This yacht is a complete restoration and refit! They did a awesome job! I would be really pressed to pick this over a brand new yacht! 😎🤙🏼
I way this was refitted. It’s dark . Very dark.no use of light materials as this. Oat just isn’t full of light as it should be
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! Great show as usual👍✌️
Wow, just Wow. What a ship. Thanks. :)

Hatteras make a great and beautiful boat. They are the master of finding space for storage.
I'll bet the present owner was very happy with your walkthrough!
Total upgrades all over amazing hatt
You mentioned the stairs to the swim platform, I'm not certain, but I think the swim platform as a whole was an addition, not just the stairs.
I'd have to put in a wheelchair lift and maybe move a couple of things around but other than that I'm packing my bags now! 😂 Thanks for showing us this beautiful vessel Victoria and Rico, stay safe 💚
Gorgeous Hatteras! I see the wine was flowing rigor to the walk. 🤐
This older classic boat is just stunning. I definitely could live on this one
I’m loving the live aboards your channel has been presenting thanks
