Thank you guys. My first centrefire was a second hand Tikka T3X lite stainless in 243Win. But when its accuracy went off I bought a new Aspire also in 243Win. Nice and lite and cheaper to hand load. Going for its first hunt this weekend on goats and another on the last week of March for a Fallow roar
Tikka and sako rifles are fantastic I use a sako carbonlight 7 mm rem mag for the South Island And a tikka 270win for the north Both are great the only thing I don’t like is the price of sako rifle but they are equality accuracy and dependability and second to none Both high end finish hunting rifles of exceptional quality
Better to pay too much and get what you need and want then to not pay enough and have to buy another unless your like me and just use it as an excuse to buy more guns😱😂
@@isaacsnowling7881ya the factory is 22 inches you can just have a good smith shorten it a couple inches and have it threaded at the same time and save money in the long run🙌👏👊
I once loaded a Winchester model 70 feather weight yk my brother in law who went hunting in the oregon coast for black tail deer and after it rained for about a week he got his deer but when I got it back after sitting at his house for a day or so before I got it the friend of the stock had twisted so bad and I had to take it too my gunsmith who had yo put a new stock on it after trying for a week to soak and turn it back straight but that is the only gun of the hundreds that I have collected for the last 60+ years and haven’t had one since!
Thank you guys.

You might check the action screws and the metal chip for the bedding which is aluminum and they make a updated steel one!
Nice video. How long have you been creating content for RUclips.

Sounds like a great setup Issac! Quality certainly costs doesn’t it 😅 Happy hunting mate!

@issacsnowling7881 did you cut your 270 back to 20? Considering the same thing. I run a strata rem mag for Apline hunting.

No mate, it is a factory shortened model to 20”
@isaacsnowling7881 sounds good. What ammo/projectiles you running in it?
Would love a Tikka chambered for 27O win, 24-inch barrel with 8 inch twist. 😉
I’ve got one!!! They are just fantastic rifles
It’s a truly awesome caliber love the 270
@isaacsnowling7881 cool bro. With a 24-inch barrel or standard 22-inch and 10 inch twist?
@@chillingout8854
I believe it’s a standard one in10 twist with a factory shortened 20 inch barrel
@isaacsnowling7881 nice. Only reason I would prefer a 24 inch faster twist is to use a 165 accubond, 170 Ballistic tip or 160 partition bullet.

This is why you need more than one rifle 😂👍
If you know how many rifles you have, you don't have enough
I’ve owned dozens of wood stocked guns and never had one warp yet. It’s all about how you take care of them.
