Don’t Make This Rookie Queen Rearing Mistake! Texas Beekeeping

In this video, I thought it would be appropriate to go ahead and make a queenless nucleus hive for rearing grafted queens for the start of my season. Turns out, I did this task too early in the year and didn't have enough bee population to support putting in grafts. BUT - it turned out okay!!
I was able to afford to do this because I have quite a few hives.
However, if you make this mistake and don't have enough bees to make up for it, it could really be detrimental to your operation, and a huge set back!
