SO WHAT IF, everything is fake and in district 9 they create their clones, Hyunjin by mistake lost the real ones and go with their clones choosing the wrong path in yellow wood. He knew that something was wrong as he experienced the side effects MV, explanation about the Hyungmin fight in that MV too and he got picked up by the fake ones. He continued with the fake till the end of side effects and in double knot, understanding something it was wrong, he knew he was with the wrong people but not the right direction to go back to the real Stray Kids. Maybe in astronaut he heard Chan's voice calling him through the wireless and running cause he is trying to find them quick. He comes to that room, seems like a base? And trying to track down the members, finds out the boxes with the miroh and side effects symbols simulated from the related videos. 01:36 is similar to Felix parts at the beginnings of miroh MV. One of Jeongin's phrases in chronosaurus was "it just over if I stop" so they may trying to tell Hyunjin to keep running to find them, like a tunnel with no light and he is scared from the non ending story. Woojin's phrase "why does time run to me so fast" may tell us that Hyunjin must find them fast because he had no time. All the clock's at the end of the chronosaurus MVs are specific dates who means something to Stray Kids so Hyunjin must harry for them. The moment with Hyunjin in the base, mirrors Chan's scene from chronosaurus, so did he finally find a way out or back to them. When Hyunjin comes in and find the members, they may be clones. He stops to Jeongin, knowing he is the only one real there but he runs away because of time and distraction. So at the end, Hyunjin find Chan and everything is okay but he forgets something... He lefts the real Jeongin in the base so this is why Jeongin is alone at the last few scenes. The global is a help for Hyunjin to let him cover everything. In the lyrics, "fake" Jisung said "even if I land on a strange world, I won't look for the exit" so he trying to make Hyunjin stay with them(fake members aka clones) and then his phrase "I'm not scared of anywhere, I grew out of having the lights on when sleeping" tell Hyunjin not to be scared with them, that they are actually good and that he has to grow up and let everything behind him, like stop using the lights when you are sleeping. I can explain all the song's lyrics but I already have write a lot, so I may post something else later about the other lyrics. The thing is that they are trying to make him believe that everything is normal and nothing is going wrong, that they can take a spaceship and be like astronauts, something that is difficult in real life. just a theory, but i think the mv is about going into adulthood. they used hyunjin as the main character, going through conflict, when he's the oldest of the maknae line, the middle child of stray kids. jeongin is the maknae, and i think he's depicted as a childish desire. the mv starts where they're all having fun in the dark, children who still find beauty in the world. eventually hyunjin starts to go through the pressures of adulthood and the part where the members are in a cage, i think that's when he had to abandon his old childish desire. but notice how when he leaves, jeongin looks sad? i think that means his childish desire is still there and that he didn't realize it. hyunjin and the other members are going through a doorway, maybe finally finding solstice in adulthood and they're all happy and having fun in the daylight...but jeongin is stuck in the dark playground. his childish desires have never left him even as he went into adulthood...idk

Theory: *Hyunjin is not supposed to be in this timeline/he is a timetraveler!* As you can see, there were past objects and scenes from other MVs (the buggy from side effects (1:41) and stormy sky effect (2:17), Felix's glitch effect like the beginning of Miroh (1:35) and the boxes glitching behind hyunjin (1:14) like the tvs in MIROH and Chan holding a walkie-talkie (2:30), the spinning wheel at the beginning that was in I am You, Chan shooting the flare like in Victory Song (2:40), the members inside the gate (1:46) and Chris standing on boxes like in District 9 (1:25) where he held the flag, this might be a stretch but the rooftop scene like Young Wings/Spread my Wings and I am You MV, and obviously hyunjin running in every MV) and Hyunjin is really the only one who realizes they are there. I've been thinking about this theory for a while since MIROH because in the MIROH mv, he was the only one moving at one point (the scene during the first chorus where the boys stand on the podium), and I think my theory might be true! He realizes what is happening around him is not real and I believe from the ending and gate scenes, Jeongin might be starting to realize this is happening too. Also, the two moons may show the different time lines. In side effects, one was on the left side of the screen and one on the right, but in Astronaut, they're both on the left (3:02) maybe signifying the timelines merging. This is just a theory and may not be true, I just wanted to get it out there :) edit: I am back after Levanter MV, I was right about the merging timelines! At 3:10 in the Levanter MV the two moons start merging into one and the boys step into "a new world" and the end note says "Step out of Clé". Besides this being the last Clé album, it could be meaning step out of the old world and into the new one. In French, Clé means Key, so stepping out of the old world could be the key to the new world. Or, Clé is not supposed to be interpreted as "key" (though I highly doubt that as their tour is called District 9: Unlock) and is representing the old world with a corrupted government (MIROH), and their journey to find the exit (Side Effects, one route where they took the easy way portrayed by the bus scene and one where they took a hard way with the open aired car), and finally Levanter where they burn the way into Clé (burning the elevator from Hellevator) and stepping into a new world. On last note, so Clé means Key and their tour was titled District 9:Unlock. Everything could have possibly been a lead up to their tour or SKZ are trying to Unlock District 9 for some reason. Maybe Jeongin and Hyunjin know why

This song shows me how much the Stray-Kids wanted to make music despite the departure of a member, they never gave up. Now they can be proud of themselves because I am proud of them. I'm not good at theories but I still wanted to point some things out about the M/V that I found interesting. @00:34 Chan is the only one at this door with a walkie-talkie. @00:41 Hyunjin hears something from the ball and looks back. Maybe it's Chan he hears? Which is strange since Chan was there playing with him and the others. @01:23 Hyunjin shoots through the boxes and sees Felix and Changbin. @01:35 They did that same effect with Felix at the beginning of Miroh. @01:41 Isn't that the same truck they were riding during Side Effects? @01:47 Them being in that cage reminds me of Side Effects. @01:53 Han, I.N, Seungmin and Minho are trapped? In there. And there are 4 Hyunjin's walking around the cage. Why the members separated like this? @01:59 Jeongin is the only one who moved. Plus Hyunjin stopped at I.N for some reason before being distracted by that ball and moving on.. @02:11 Two moons, just like in Side Effects @02:14 Hyunjin is now running through bad weather? Is Hyunjin the one that is lost because the other members always seem to be together, in a different reality or frame of mind. Hyunjin is looked out of it? during Side Effects. And now he's look back on those times that strongly resemble the other songs they've done this past year. @02:40 Chan is shooting the gun in the air. I know I've seen this before!!! Okay I just checked, he does that in Victory song as well. Is the Victory song connected to this journey? @02:41 And they're on a building again. Like they were in Miroh. But they're all wearing white. So maybe it's something like heaven where everything is good and pure and they can live together forever? @03:16 It's the same rooftop that they were on when they were wearing white and being happy together. The weather is the similar to the one Hyunjin was going through and there are 2 moons. But now I.N is there by himself and he doesn't look happy. Which is strange because at 1:59, Jeongin is the only one who moved. 2 Theories: 1) What is the reality? The one where they're on the rooftop wearing white or the one where Hyunjin and I.N were? Because they can't be in two places at the same time experiencing 2 different emotions. Perhaps I.N was left behind in the world with 2 moons?? 2) The moon is bright and beautiful and that's the goal. But the distance between the moon and the earth is 'nothingness' or pitch black. Reading the lyrics, I understood it as pursuing your goal even though the the journey seems bleak, too dark or mentally challenging for you to push through. Maybe I.N didn't follow them. Because the journey seemed too dark or too difficult for him. This is the theory I'm more positive about.

What i like about Stray Kids is that they don't LIMIT themselves in a fixed position like usual kpop group, the rappers sing, the singers rap, the dancers rap and sing. BUT what more surprising is that they do it all very well, like they all sing well, rap well, dance well. AND not even one member gets overshadowed by the other members. They all get the same spotlight. You will hardly find a group like them, at least for now.
That’s why their a flop, all of them are mediocre in every role rather than having one person in each position being very good at one certain area so the quality of their songs would be insane, for example, BTS. Being mediocre in every area as every member means every song you put out is going to be mediocre, if they weren’t from JYP, they wouldn’t even receive any attention. Just look at ASTRO as an example. Just look at BIGBANG, BTS, EXO, all insanely talented at one area, and other areas where they aren’t as good, other members who are good at that part makes up for it, which is what makes a group. Edit: And yes, mediocre, if they weren’t mediocre at every area, they wouldn’t even be a group, because that’s a Solo potential right there, which none of them have; aka mediocre.

In this song, the boys use "I'm going to explore like an astronaut" as a metaphor. This song is about a person who left his fears behind, and once he did, he realized everything he was capable of doing and that he could actually go very far. That's why they say "I'm going to go exploring right now, I'm young and free, there's nothing to fear." This song is really very nice, I love it.
Reason why they did this was so they didn't have to do a full reshoot, the MV would have been ready before he left. So they just redid the parts they are to rerecord

This song fills me with the bittersweet emotion of freedom. I feel the freedom of childlike imagination when listening to this, but so sad when I realize that I haven't really felt like that since I was a child. You can be and do anything in your imagination. But as you grow older, that imagination and wonder get shoved to the back of your mind to make way for school and work and life. And this song makes me feel that wonder again. I'm glad this song makes me feel this because I've missed it so much. And now I think its time for me to try to get wonder back permanently. So thank you to Stray Kids for allowing me to feel this way and for showing me how to wonder again.
I am a new stay and I have to say these guys need more recognition. Everyone in this group oozes talent. From their rap line to their vocal line, from their leader to their maknae, every single person is talented. When I first started listening to their songs, I was shocked and disappointed that I didn't Stan them from the beginning. Not a single song of theirs is a disappointment. From the lyrics to the music videos, everything about them is beautiful. This song is simply amazing and I really pray that they become more popular. Such talent should not be hidden.

I'm not a STAY but this is my fave song from SKZ. I remember listening to this during the start of COVID, my sister (a STAY) always put this on blast whenever she gives me a ride to and from work. I realize that astronaut is skz most underrated song and some think it’s their worst track but some have to realize that this song brought back hope and it gave us a feeling that things would be okay. As for me I can say that when astronaut came out I bawled out my eyes in the school bathroom I just got a rush of hope and that things would be okay and that they will be stronger and better than ever ASTRONAUT DESERVES MORE! And the thing is it came out after bad news at the time and the boys looked sad at the time so it was just a hard time for most stays I’m sure of it and astronaut just brought back all our hope. I find this song and MV so cool. I think something I feel is a recurring restless theme, as if they are searching for something. You can see it in the lyrics as they say they are excited to go somewhere but aren't sure where that is. Also you can see a sadder theme to it because of a few of the lines seem to imply looking for the moon in the darkness, or in the MV it showed a dark path. There still is a happiness to it a joy to be free and young. I wonder if this ties with their experience as a K-pop idol. They are excited for the fame and what it brings and are ready to experience something new. They have the joy of going somewhere in the future, and leaving the past behind. But also the darker parts of being a K-Pop idol are symbolized by the members being trapped in a cage without being able to escape.

SO WHAT IF, everything is fake and in district 9 they create their clones, Hyunjin by mistake lost the real ones and go with their clones choosing the wrong path in yellow wood. He knew that something was wrong as he experienced the side effects MV, explanation about the Hyungmin fight in that MV too and he got picked up by the fake ones. He continued with the fake till the end of side effects and in double knot, understanding something it was wrong, he knew he was with the wrong people but not the right direction to go back to the real Stray Kids. Maybe in astronaut he heard Chan's voice calling him through the wireless and running cause he is trying to find them quick. He comes to that room, seems like a base? And trying to track down the members, finds out the boxes with the miroh and side effects symbols simulated from the related videos. 01:36 is similar to Felix parts at the beginnings of miroh MV. One of Jeongin's phrases in chronosaurus was "it just over if I stop" so they may trying to tell Hyunjin to keep running to find them, like a tunnel with no light and he is scared from the non ending story. Woojin's phrase "why does time run to me so fast" may tell us that Hyunjin must find them fast because he had no time. All the clock's at the end of the chronosaurus MVs are specific dates who means something to Stray Kids so Hyunjin must harry for them. The moment with Hyunjin in the base, mirrors Chan's scene from chronosaurus, so did he finally find a way out or back to them. When Hyunjin comes in and find the members, they may be clones. He stops to Jeongin, knowing he is the only one real there but he runs away because of time and distraction. So at the end, Hyunjin find Chan and everything is okay but he forgets something... He lefts the real Jeongin in the base so this is why Jeongin is alone at the last few scenes. The global is a help for Hyunjin to let him cover everything.
In the lyrics, "fake" Jisung said "even if I land on a strange world, I won't look for the exit" so he trying to make Hyunjin stay with them(fake members aka clones) and then his phrase "I'm not scared of anywhere, I grew out of having the lights on when sleeping" tell Hyunjin not to be scared with them, that they are actually good and that he has to grow up and let everything behind him, like stop using the lights when you are sleeping. I can explain all the song's lyrics but I already have write a lot, so I may post something else later about the other lyrics. The thing is that they are trying to make him believe that everything is normal and nothing is going wrong, that they can take a spaceship and be like astronauts, something that is difficult in real life.

just a theory, but i think the mv is about going into adulthood. they used hyunjin as the main character, going through conflict, when he's the oldest of the maknae line, the middle child of stray kids. jeongin is the maknae, and i think he's depicted as a childish desire. the mv starts where they're all having fun in the dark, children who still find beauty in the world. eventually hyunjin starts to go through the pressures of adulthood and the part where the members are in a cage, i think that's when he had to abandon his old childish desire. but notice how when he leaves, jeongin looks sad? i think that means his childish desire is still there and that he didn't realize it. hyunjin and the other members are going through a doorway, maybe finally finding solstice in adulthood and they're all happy and having fun in the daylight...but jeongin is stuck in the dark playground. his childish desires have never left him even as he went into adulthood...idk

Theory: *Hyunjin is not supposed to be in this timeline/he is a timetraveler!*
As you can see, there were past objects and scenes from other MVs (the buggy from side effects (1:41) and stormy sky effect (2:17), Felix's glitch effect like the beginning of Miroh (1:35) and the boxes glitching behind hyunjin (1:14) like the tvs in MIROH and Chan holding a walkie-talkie (2:30), the spinning wheel at the beginning that was in I am You, Chan shooting the flare like in Victory Song (2:40), the members inside the gate (1:46) and Chris standing on boxes like in District 9 (1:25) where he held the flag, this might be a stretch but the rooftop scene like Young Wings/Spread my Wings and I am You MV, and obviously hyunjin running in every MV) and Hyunjin is really the only one who realizes they are there. I've been thinking about this theory for a while since MIROH because in the MIROH mv, he was the only one moving at one point (the scene during the first chorus where the boys stand on the podium), and I think my theory might be true! He realizes what is happening around him is not real and I believe from the ending and gate scenes, Jeongin might be starting to realize this is happening too. Also, the two moons may show the different time lines. In side effects, one was on the left side of the screen and one on the right, but in Astronaut, they're both on the left (3:02) maybe signifying the timelines merging.
This is just a theory and may not be true, I just wanted to get it out there :)
edit: I am back after Levanter MV, I was right about the merging timelines! At 3:10 in the Levanter MV the two moons start merging into one and the boys step into "a new world" and the end note says "Step out of Clé". Besides this being the last Clé album, it could be meaning step out of the old world and into the new one. In French, Clé means Key, so stepping out of the old world could be the key to the new world. Or, Clé is not supposed to be interpreted as "key" (though I highly doubt that as their tour is called District 9: Unlock) and is representing the old world with a corrupted government (MIROH), and their journey to find the exit (Side Effects, one route where they took the easy way portrayed by the bus scene and one where they took a hard way with the open aired car), and finally Levanter where they burn the way into Clé (burning the elevator from Hellevator) and stepping into a new world.
On last note, so Clé means Key and their tour was titled District 9:Unlock. Everything could have possibly been a lead up to their tour or SKZ are trying to Unlock District 9 for some reason. Maybe Jeongin and Hyunjin know why

2 Theories:
1) What is the reality? The one where they're on the rooftop wearing white or the one where Hyunjin and I.N were? Because they can't be in two places at the same time experiencing 2 different emotions. Perhaps I.N was left behind in the world with 2 moons??
2) The moon is bright and beautiful and that's the goal. But the distance between the moon and the earth is 'nothingness' or pitch black. Reading the lyrics, I understood it as pursuing your goal even though the the journey seems bleak, too dark or mentally challenging for you to push through. Maybe I.N didn't follow them. Because the journey seemed too dark or too difficult for him. This is the theory I'm more positive about.

What i like about Stray Kids is that they don't LIMIT themselves in a fixed position like usual kpop group, the rappers sing, the singers rap, the dancers rap and sing. BUT what more surprising is that they do it all very well, like they all sing well, rap well, dance well. AND not even one member gets overshadowed by the other members. They all get the same spotlight. You will hardly find a group like them, at least for now.

That’s why their a flop, all of them are mediocre in every role rather than having one person in each position being very good at one certain area so the quality of their songs would be insane, for example, BTS. Being mediocre in every area as every member means every song you put out is going to be mediocre, if they weren’t from JYP, they wouldn’t even receive any attention. Just look at ASTRO as an example. Just look at BIGBANG, BTS, EXO, all insanely talented at one area, and other areas where they aren’t as good, other members who are good at that part makes up for it, which is what makes a group.

This song fills me with the bittersweet emotion of freedom. I feel the freedom of childlike imagination when listening to this, but so sad when I realize that I haven't really felt like that since I was a child. You can be and do anything in your imagination. But as you grow older, that imagination and wonder get shoved to the back of your mind to make way for school and work and life. And this song makes me feel that wonder again. I'm glad this song makes me feel this because I've missed it so much. And now I think its time for me to try to get wonder back permanently. So thank you to Stray Kids for allowing me to feel this way and for showing me how to wonder again.
I am a new stay and I have to say these guys need more recognition. Everyone in this group oozes talent. From their rap line to their vocal line, from their leader to their maknae, every single person is talented. When I first started listening to their songs, I was shocked and disappointed that I didn't Stan them from the beginning. Not a single song of theirs is a disappointment. From the lyrics to the music videos, everything about them is beautiful. This song is simply amazing and I really pray that they become more popular. Such talent should not be hidden.

Why does this song feel SO GOOD TO LISTEN TO??? This is so different from other SKZ songs, but I'm already loving it. They pulled this off effortlessly. This song is defiantly making it's way to my playlist!
I realize that astronaut is skz most underrated song and some think it’s their worst track but some have to realize that this song brought back hope and it gave us a feeling that things would be okay. As for me I can say that when astronaut came out I bawled out my eyes in the school bathroom I just got a rush of hope and that things would be okay and that they will be stronger and better than ever ASTRONAUT DESERVES MORE! And the thing is it came out after bad news at the time and the boys looked sad at the time so it was just a hard time for most stays I’m sure of it and astronaut just brought back all our hope. And now our boys are breaking their own limits and are getting to the top. Anyways stay and stray kids are a family!!!

I find this song and MV so cool. I think something I feel is a recurring restless theme, as if they are searching for something. You can see it in the lyrics as they say they are excited to go somewhere but aren't sure where that is.
Also you can see a sadder theme to it because of a few of the lines seem to imply looking for the moon in the darkness, or in the MV it showed a dark path.
There still is a happiness to it a joy to be free and young.
I wonder if this ties with their experience as a K-pop idol. They are excited for the fame and what it brings and are ready to experience something new. They have the joy of going somewhere in the future, and leaving the past behind. But also the darker parts of being a K-Pop idol are symbolized by the members being trapped in a cage without being able to escape.
