Funny how stupid people begin to sound as soon as they don't have explained in words what they're looking at.

We’re humans ,we think in terms of memories of things ,not colour shapes ,looks like a Braque still life .

This has more of a playground feel for me rather than still life.

This reminds me of me right before i noticed i didn't have any talent for painting!

THAT's when soon after, you will be making authentic work.... it's one of the best places to find YOURSELF as a true artist, my friend.

@@cliffdariff74 Giving up painting is the best decision I made to grow as an artist! Especially now when all painting is just a mere illustration of what it once was! Only the parts that were rediculised in the past seem to be given attention as to position itself into the preservation of what it once was! A pure institutional masturabation with zero to no sociological relevance besides serving the elitist awe! Sickening and exactly the same motivation the corporate agenda has!

Among the dozens of artists that I know, the ones who make a living from their art usually don't give a shit about the concept of talent.

  • @1hayes1

Strongly reminiscent of Georges Braque. Same conservative impulse.

      Picabia

@@afh553 Really? I don't see it. Bradley's work has no mechanical, Dadaistic themes, and lacks the kitsch factor of late Picabia (which is the secret, not-so-secret reference for so much contemporary painting). His work seem more about how things appear, visually.

I don't think these are a better direction for his neo-Cobra work. The older work was lighter on its feet. These are too direct.
