Great video! I'll be doing a 22 day South America and Antarctica cruise departing December 15, 2024 so I'm so excited. That first photo of the Antarctica is amazing! And the penguins on the iceberg are incredible. What camera did you use? Thanks for sharing! Love your video!
Lovely video. As you past Port Lockroy our Granddaughter was on the island you videoed running the gift shop etc with 3 other girls. Glad you had a lovely time.

My husband and I are sailing on Sapphire Princess in December for 34 days to South America and Antarctica from Los Angeles (even though we live in New Jersey) to Buenos Aires. Thank you for mentioning Bluff Cove. We will watch for it. We have an inside cabin on 5 but are considering $$splurging$$ on a balcony. Is it necessary? Worth it? If we get one, which side of the boat had the viewing advantage? Any packing tips? I hope you two continue to travel together in good health and love for many years.
I think you will have a great time. Port (left) side will allow views of land as you travel, but either side is ok. If you can you should upgrade to balcony, viewing whales penguins and overall scenery will be great, l know the cost of upgrading will be high for that many days. If you can’t you can find common areas to sit inside and still enjoy. Get a cheap zoom camera and you will appreciate taking pictures. Hope you have a great time.
