I’m surprised no one mentioned the scene where everyone got to meet Jacob’s boyfriend and Ava goes “Black?” and his boyfriend replies “Actually it’s pronounced Zack!” 😂😂😂 that was so risqué yet had me absolutely dying. I had to replay it a couple of times 😂😂😂

No one’s mentioning it but can we talk about how the interviewer actually asked important proper questions regarding the show. These days they don’t be asking things you actually want to know and I’m so happy she did.
Love how protective Quinta is of the show. She doesn't want to cheapen the show with typical storyline. It's great and refreshing

Quinta Brunson is a genius and a consummate professional. Her generosity in this interview is so much more than I could give, and is yet another way she’s an off-the-charts artist and human being.
I'm Asian. I swear, my older sister is the exact replica of Ava.
The way They move, the way the nose pinhced when They laugh, the snark, the hysterics, the random word vomit that came out like some kind of brain farts, the hyper focus on peoples appereances and lack of focus on everything else.
How 90% of what She said on the show literally word for word has been spoken to me IRL throughout my childhood gave me chills.. and lots of laughs.
The show is great, the cast obviously have amazing chemistry, and the writers/set designers found a perfect formula. I hope this show ends up being one of those that stays on air for awhile and stands the test of time.

The interviewer swear she was gonna get some inside scoop on Janine and Gregory! She asked the same question in 100 different ways! 🤦🏽♀️ Love this cast! Glad to have this type of comedy on tv!
EW knows what they’re doing posting a 41 minute video. All videos of this cast are excellent, but for real 41 minutes is the bare minimum of how much Abbott content we want lol

This is such a solid cast, each character I love & invested in. And that’s usually rare for a show for me. But I love them all, I hope we get more character development for each of them. Jacob & his boyfriend. Melissa and the vending machine guy. (&& all her connection guys) More funny bits from Mr. Johnson lol. Janelle is a light ! I know she is a comedian but she has STAR quality. Quinta is truly a success story from vine days to a Emmy winning show that’s HERS baby. We need at minimum 5 seasons of Abbott, we need graduations ! Substitute teachers everything lol

Nah. As someone who has followed Janelle for several years, outside of her standup, she has a very quiet, introverted demeanor. I think she can having resting b face but she’s not like that all, especially not with anything that has to do with Abbott.

This is the best show on TV. Hopefully, 2023 Abbott Elementary will win the Emmy. The cast is amazing, they all work so well together. As a teacher who taught elementary school for 41 years this show has brought back so many wonderful memories of my career. I look forward to every Wednesday at 9:00pm for a new episode. Kudos to the cast and crew for making us all escape our lives for 30 minutes to enjoy an award winning sitcom. #Abott Elementary Rocks....

I think the perfect and most realistic crossover episode for Abbott Elementary to do in my mind is crossing over It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and I think it could definitely work as an episode surrounding Melissa and her Italian roots.

This show is hilarious. Sometimes you need to step away from watching Hospital & Crime Shows to take sometime to laugh if only for 30 minutes. Abbott Elementary is in good company with Cheers, Seinfeld, The Office, The Mindy Project,Will And Grace, King of Queens, Modern Family & Superstore. Everyone of Abbott's Elementary's characters are excellent. I never had this much fun in elementary school until I turned on Abbott Elementary. Congratulations Sheryl Lee Ralph on receiving your Emmy Award. Thumbs Up to Program Creator Quinta Brunson.

I love them so so much. this show has made being in college last year so much more tolerable. every episode brightened my day and I'm so happy to have them back this year to make being a student easier.
It’s amazinggggg seeing Quinta as a leader figure head as a writer of the show. Just so much respect at her young age and that’s amazing because she’s only going up and up
I really enjoyed this interview. With so many past shows having cast issues it's great to seem a cast really like and appreciate each other. Not to mention seeing them getting sauced was fun 😂 The host was well prepared and did great and added a great vibe to the interview......she was smacked towards the end she was ready to end it 🤣🤣🤣

I love Lisa Ann Walter's perspective of her costars. With an attitude like that, she will continue to get work. It can seem in this world of "unfiltered" opinionated people that those are the ones "keepin it real" but nobody wants to work with nobody like that. Treat the people around you with kindness and respect and the gigs will keep rolling in.
I love how interviews are allowing celebs to be human and actually get a little drunk and high in national television. This is golden! They’re all feeling the second drunk midway through the interview. It’s awesome tbh 😂❤

As a Spelman alum I died laughing when Jacob wanted to apply to Morehouse 😂 and I agree on the casts’ feelings of looking forward to the show! I get excited about new Abbott episodes like I used to get excited about That’s So Raven and shows like that. It’s satisfying to not have the whole story at your hands immediately. I loveeee this show so much and am so excited to see how it plays out ❤️

I believe the interviewer used the term ratchet up in the classic sense of the word which means to intensify or increase the power. I'm sure she didn't mean ratchet the way we have come to use it as slang. I'm sure she didn't even know our slang way of using ratchet.

Ugg I love this show!!! My favorite part with when Mrs. Howard was having trouble with the new reading thing on the IPad and she ended up having to have one of her students who had trouble reading, read in front of the school. Her little student was so cute, I loved his little dances and he reminds me of a student that I currently tutor. He was so proud of himself when he finally got it.

It’s not gonna happen. Quinta and the cast are too scared to push the envelope. They are truly dependent on the what the fans like and don’t like. There was too much placating in this interview. Instead of understanding that they have a great product and being confident even arrogant with their responses! They tip toe around answers, being sure to say the right thing.
