I only heard about it recently and was immediately delighted by this unofficial holiday, as it brings a touch of October and fall into the summer! :)

Lovely video! Ive never heard of Summerween before. Now that I'm up north in Sweden i look forward to picking bilberries for my breakfast and maybe even a pie 😋😋 always amazed by your baking! I love baking, but should avoid gluten so for me crumbles with oats in it is the easiest way to deal with it. Much more difficult to bake glutenfree unfortunately so sometimes I just use gluten anyway...the most important for me is without milk, and its easy to change to vegan butter, and tastes as good and my tummy is happy ❤

Oh, baking without gluten and milk does indeed sound quite difficult - my mom doesn't tolerate gluten well either, and is increasingly switching to vegan products, I'll ask her if she has a delicious recipe in her repertoire to share 😁🥧 I wish you a wonderful day 🤗

I had a lovely wonderful time in Scotland. 🥰 I've posted LOTS of pictures on Instagram, so much to see. 🤩 now I'm up north in Sweden, having lovely warm not to warm weather. Today we went to a place with the most breathtaking view over the huge river. Unfortunately the café where we had planned to eat at had closed for the season (!) If your mum has a good recipy sho would like to share, that would be wonderful 🥰🥰

Summerween originated from Gravity Falls, one of my all time favorite Disney animated series. Including the carving the Jack-O-Melons tradition. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend!
That's right! At first I thought it originated from the Summerween reading/book challenge (for scary stories in the summer) but then I quickly came across Gravity Falls in my research 😁👍 thanks for the recommendation, I'll check out the series a bit more!

Welcome to my channel and thank you for your kind words 🤗 I made the drink with berry juice (very delicious), the "recipe" was actually with blood orange juice - probably because it fits the Summerween theme better in terms of color 😉 But I also imagine it to be very tasty! In my opinion, Vanilla ice cream goes well with almost any fruit 🧡

I just discovered Summerween a few weeks ago and was thrilled. Halloween is my favorite time of year with all the pumpkins, autumn foods, cooler weather and fun crafts. Your video showed up in my feed and so glad it did. The only thing missing was a Halloween jigsaw puzzle. Your food looked yummy!

Thank you dear Lilli 🤗❤️ I've only recently heard of Summerween too, but this opportunity to incorporate autumn vibes into summer had me hooked immediately. Plus, I love scary stories in summer - they remind me of my childhood 😁
This makes so much sense to me as a reader, because there are quite a few spooky stories that are not set in summer or that feel a lot more summer than autumn.
Also, I was at IKEA today and they were just setting up their Halloween display, so, perfect timing.
