Your soldering skill are unmatched!!! Good idea to short out pins so you don't loose any current!! Just pour solder paste over the whole board and put it into the oven so you have one big contact!!!
The spot welding machine made of a microwave oven transformer is sufficient. It can be plugged and used without waiting for dozens of minutes to charge. Farad capacitors are not safe to use. Short circuit and overvoltage will cause great harm. In the video, the air switch of the transformer spot welding machine is only 20a, so the welding capacity must be insufficient. Generally, it is around 50a, and the welding capacity is enough to exceed that of a 2 Farad capacitor spot welder.
