Great review and pretty spot on as it related to my two recent 747 upper deck experiences on Lufthansa. Glad you got it and didn't downgrade this experience just because their seating is old style, which is due to change next year. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks . I agree with their seating being old style . The service is so nice that it makes the seating a low priority compared to other airlines . I’m interested to see what’s changes next year .
Have you actually ever flown it or do you just base your opinion on travel videos and the fact that it's 2x2 and not individual pods like on Polaris? There's no doubt this needs an update and that's coming next year, but this is still a good product made exceptional by the amazing cabin crew in business class. Lauryn definitely gets it.

And YES i flown it many Times but never again not even after the renovation, Service is just russian Roulette . I Stick to KLM now.
@@Snakeshit294 Ridiculous. As an American, I certainly don't think of anything German, particularly when it comes to engineering as "trash". It's an excellent product, although a bit dated by today's standards and the new aircraft like the 787 and A350 that have come along to reshape the industry. For clarificatoin, I never called the seating an insult, you did....I call them dated. That said, it's laughable that you think KLM is so great. I have zero issues with them, their cabins are beautifully designed and there is a lot of attention to detail. That said, if you are center business class, you are still sharing a footwell (angled and tapered on the windows) and since all of the seats are angled towards the aisle, there is little privacy no matter where you sit. If that's the case, I'll take the bigger yet dated business class seat of Lufthansa. Let's also not forget that one version of the 777-300ER at KLM still has seating very similar to that of Lufthansa. As for service, maybe try being friendly to the staff when you're onboard. It's amazing the effect a smile and being nice can have on others. When you they say "Guten morgen or hello", don't answer with, "I'll take a coffee." These folks choose to do this job and end up spending a lot of time away from their families, so maybe show some appreciation for the hard job they do. Every cabin crew I have had at Lufthansa business has been amazing and a huge part of why I have enjoyed my flights.
@@bryanward3327 Where did i say ANYTHING about engineering? When we talk about engineering there is NOBODY better on this planet... We even over engineer stuff. A bit dated ? Those seats are 20!!!!! years old for one of the most expensive airlines on this planet NOT acceptable period.. same with the 777 from KLM like you said NOT accaptable.... BUT SERVICE, we are the WORST on this planet we even have a saying in germany " service Wüste Deutschland" means service desert germany.... Trust me i'm a very friendly person, Everybody calls me sunny because i always smile, almost never have a bad day, wish a grat day and so on and THAT'S exactly the reason why i HATE bad customer service because friendlieness and kindness is one of the only things on this planet thats FREE. As i said not all of them are bad but like 60%, i had 30 flights with lufthansa 18 of them an absolute desaster the other 12 ok to perfect... But in comination, old dated seats and a 60/40 % chance to get fucked up customer service on a really expensive ticket... nope fuck that. On Skyteam 40 flights with KLM i had maybe 3 bad ones, DELTA 10 flights 2 bad ones, airfrance 10 flights, 0 bad ones.
