Good for him that he came up big in a Super Bowl and won it, but if you go look up his stats, he actually got a fair amount of chances to make it in the NFL, given his throwing accuracy........Williams kept improving throughout his career, and was a pretty good QB by his mid 30s.

I have few heros. DOUG WILLIAMS IS MINE. i was in the stands of tb and heard all the ratial slurs and it broke my heart as it reminded me of all the times i was called the R word. Yet he played awesome. My father met him once at a hobby shop promotion. He was nice and talked to my dad who made 126/ week@ 45h/ week.❤ still with hus jaw wired shut he was kind to my father. Doug Williams will forever be my favorite football player and hero. He perserveered and overcame.
