Pretty close to my wish list. Though I am not a bracelet person, but as long as you can swap. The closest watch I found, though out of price range is the Yema Flygraf. Relatively affordable, but misses the numeric indices, is the Reise.
Have you looked at the Casio Overland WTS? Looks like it meets a lot requirements; I'd buy one if they sold them here in the States. It appears they are only available in Japan, so you might be able to get one for a review?
It may be. I have a Christopher Ward With a quick adjust clasp. I also just bought to Mako III a couple of months ago from Zelos. That is the clasp on this one. In my opinion the Zelos clasp is better. That is a major reason why I just ordered this one as well!
Awesome watch... lume is always a very big strong point for Zelos, the little lume comparison with you did was very helpful to illustrate. great watch great video!
I had the opportunity to get the blue colbat! Excellent watch! One minor problem with the clasp was solved asap by mr Tang, who had the kindness to replace the whole clasp for free. It is nice when professionalism is combined with sensibility. Cheers from Greece
This looks like a very cool watch with a lot of things I personally like. White dial, check. Black surround hands and indices, check. Solid Miyota movement, check. 10.5 mm thickness, check. Good looking case and matt to polished touches, check. Good bracelet with quick sizing, check. 12 hour bezel, check. But I'm agreeing with many that would love to see this Zelos with a stainless steel bezel. That would be the icing on the cake. Still might consider this one. Great review and thanks!
Hey man do you remember me I commented on one of your videos asking that will my skeleton automatic watch be affected by its own magnet on the band , you said if there's a pillow in between then it doesn't matter well thanks for that suggestion and I kinda recommend to check the Forsining skeleton watch (square shape) I am using it for nearly a month now and it's great it's really good , do check couz it's also cheap.😉✌🏻
Lol, I'm the opposite - really don't see why you'd want to know the date when diving.. Consequently I don't like dates on tool watches, but maybe could tolerate one on a daily wearer. Cheers.
The stainless steel bezel with lumed markers would be amazing. You should forward that suggestion to them. I look forward to seeing a release date fore this.
Ha, good catch. I was filming three or four different watches that day and had my camera setup. Must not have been paying enough attention when I put it on for the shot.
I purchased my first Zelos earlier this week and should be getting it tomorrow - it's a Bronze Mako V3.5 and I'm extremely excited. This will be my next Zelos for sure, it's a shame the white colorway sold out so fast though. I love everything about it and it just looks so timeless. Excellent macro shots in the review as well, absolutely stunning. I look forward to seeing up to date reviews from you so I don't miss out on a gem like this again. Cheers!
Just a bit pricey. You can go to Steinhart, get a great Ocean One 39mm dive watch with Swiss ETA 2824 movement for the exact same price if you get the green bezel model (sapphire crystal, antireflective, ceramic bezel). You cannot beat that value. This Zelos is nice; but, slightly overprices, no antireflective coating, non-Swiss movement; but, it does have a killer adjustable bracelet catch! I agree with Dave, I wish the bezel added some color...too much white. Wonderful channel, terrific reviews!
Hi Dave,I totally agree with you. I have a Vostok gmt and a Cronos pepsi gmt with a fourth hand and a 24 hour bezel. The quality of the Cronos is probably the best of my collection which h includes Swiss watches. But I do prefer a 3 hand watch with a 12 hour bezel. Sooooo user friendly. So what if it isn't a true gmt. By the way I live in the SF bay area. Thanks for your reviews....
Even thought this fella’s taste isn’t my own he’s ’got’ the fact that budget means less than a couple of grand! I also like the genres of watches. Nicely pitched.
Thanks for the great review! As always! I’ll be buying this watch in two hours and 30 minutes… Going to go with this exact color-way. This will make my fourth Zelos purchase two of which I still have in my collection. I very recently purchased the mako III 40mm which I love and it’s become one of my favorites… My grail watch is a Rolex explorer 39 mm… And this watch very much reminds me of it(With a little more ‘flash’...)I was thinking about going with the granite dial however your review Made me decide that the white was the way to go. Thanks for getting this review out before the release...
Just received mine via FedEx today but sadly, I decided to return it after only less than a minute trying it on my wrist. It’s way too small for my taste. I’ve got 6.75” wrists and I wear 39mm to 41mm watches. I have some 39mm Seikos but they look just right on me. This one wears too small because of its 43mm lug to lug.
Thank you for mentioning that you can use the bezel for timing No one ever mentions that you can use any bezel with a single distinguished mark for timing
And if they made diving bezels with the numbers the wrong way they’d be even better for timing... everything! I’d actually prefer a 12hr but a backwards 0 to 60 would be pretty damn cool too.
Yeah that was my bad, I often film late at night and sometimes forget to change the time on the watch to something more aesthetically pleasing for video.
Man, GMT is the most useless watch complication. “First you use your phone or whatever and look up the time difference from where you are.” ... or you can just use your phone every time.
I have a chance to order either the white frost field watch version or this . I have the blue dial with the white 12 hr bezel but I'm having the hardest time choosing . Do I get a second 12 hr watch or the field help me everyone lol
Looks nice! I love a 12 hour bezel as well, but they aren't nearly as ubiquitous as dive bezels. Just picked up a Glyzine Double 12 , should be here today - for just that functionality. Also - LOVE that bracelet. My CW bracelets are the same and I just can't with other less adjustable bracelets in my collection now. Great review - thanks so much!!
Looks really good man. Obviously the color scheme is inspired by the rolex explorer II which is not a bad thing. Zelos definitely make some high quality pieces. Great video!
I'm 3 months late but Just the Watch Guy says the words "created my perfect watch" , I paused, poured a beer, listened, searched for Zelos EVERYWHERE. Thanks for the great review and all the info! This white dial is now on my list.
For $500 you can get a fantastic Steinhart Ocean 39mm with an ETA Swiss movement, sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. $500 would be a deal breaker for me for this Zelos. Great adjustable band, though! Nice watch. Agree that the bezel should have contrasted the dial a bit more.
The features of my Seiko snzh55 is very close to this ZELO, plus week days display, but in 100m water resistant. But I like it by the looks, sapphire crystal, and the Miyota movement is my favorite, it may a bit noisy for some, but their accuracy figure can beats any enter to middle range Swiss ETA movement or 4r36 from Seiko. 😎
This watch is really nice, although I would prefer it with black dial for myself, the white dial here gives it some character. The 39mm size looks fine on a 7.5" wrist. The clasp is pretty amazing, the Sub got a similar slider. True, once someone experienced that sort of clasp is really hard to use anything else. The brushed/sandblasted combo on theclasp is a nice touch. I'd say the best clasp I've experienced, even better than the Sub is the DS but the bracelet thickness/width with the nearly 18mm height, make it at times hard to wear. The width/thickness of this 39mm Zelos bracelet is perfect for this watch case, proportionally wise. The only thing that worries me are the bracelet link screws. I've had some issues and watched in YT vids with the exact same problem. Either the screws or the link holes are too soft. Some may become loose. Can refer the vid I've watched. I hope that the vid I've watched (and mine) were accidental cases or simply bad luck. Would be great an update on the bracelet. Other than that, for that price you get much more than you've paid for. Thanks for sharing. Edit: the bracelet looks a bit like Halios Tropik SS, I've had the screws problem there too with almost all removable links.
Great review and thank you- I missed out on the horizon GMT as it was already out of stock. I saw this and googled it and it wasn’t yet released when it did come out it was only available in the white colour way for about 3 days and I managed to bag one thanks to your review. My perfect watch would be 40-41mm, less than 49 lug 2 lug, less than $2000, 3link bracelet with quick release and tool free micro adjust, 200m WR, great lume, with a quick set hour hand and a 12 hour bezel. This is so close!
Yes, the right kind of bezel; for a more practical use than traditional divers have. I think a lot of brands are going this way. Regarding the one on the video, I think they should have sent you a more attractive model, this one looks to me on the "flat" side . Not that it can't be better combined but for the purpose of the video, they should have been more "on top" of what you were going to show. Pricewise : How to be close to an Aristo with all these features plus an ETA 2824-2? mmm, maybe it is s a good idea to disclose more about the company, just an idea. But, just out of that comparison , this one I consider should be capped at $400.
Hello. The new Horizons collection has started on Zelos. I am a beginner collector and I have a dilemma which watch to choose. What is your opinion, what do you recommend?
It has been designed modifying the Axios Flagship I think. Some of the details are left identical. The bracelet is of course completely different. The Flagship is my favourite piece in 2020 because it's comfortable and has fun watermelon colors. Quality and finishing with Axios/Zelos is on a good level. Hope they will come up with exebishion case back and decorated rotor in the future ✌
Its nice & well finished good case shape and dimensions love there's no crown guards, not particularly enamoured with the gmt style bezel(preferably dive), but a great all round package,be interesting to see the various colourways, full & informative review.
the only thing preventing me from ordering this immediately is the fully lumed dial and bezel. Would have just preferred the hands and indices, personally.
I don't understand why all watch bracelets do not employ a similar glide lock. Are you listening Citizen? Miyota movement but a better spec watch then your line. Step up.
Perfect review of a beautiful watch! I hope, that I won't miss the chance to get one while they are still available… Kind regards from Germany - Thomas.
Nice watch. I have to get a you tube channel so I can get free watches. This is a decent deal at best. The band is awesome. I love those kinds. Great lume.
This one is now sold out. I wish someone would do a review of the 'field' version as I'm more interested in that...so far there are no reviews of this.
Dunno, I try to avoid agreeing to review watches that look like something I wouldn't recommend. I've been sent watches by other brands that have had problems that I've noted in reviews, but so far none of them of complained. More often they apologize and say they'll work harder on their quality control in the future.
Still really like it! Really the only thing I would change is the bezel color. I think black or stainless steel would have been better. It's a very white watch as it is. But I love everything else about it.
Noo! The white dial and bezel is so ultra bad ass! Don't change that Zelos!

@@CoolAs900 I have the swordfish 40 and it’s an awesome watch… It’s a straight diver though...And a thicker watch.

Man, that’s a really nice watch. I just purchased a SARB035...it should be in my mailbox today when I get home! Pretty stoked.
In a lot of ways this is kind of like a sportier version of the Sarb035. That's one I've always wanted to own!
@@JusttheWatch I was thinking that myself! I “needed” a dress watch, so I picked up that SARB. Now I may “need” another sports watch...

Close to perfection, but lately I have found myself lusting after no date watches, but for a dive/tool watch the date HAS to be there for sure.

Good review of a nice watch, a full lumed dial and dark indices might have worked better.
Not for me this one
Fine looking watch. Never New of the brand. So thanks.
"Zelos might have created my perfect watch" Haha you sound so defeated by that fact! Amazing looking watch and great review!
Awesome review. I ordered this same Frost model the moment I saw your video. Thanks a lot!
Ordered! Nice review
I don't care for zelo's design on their watches but I really like this one
Such a beautiful watch. Love the white and orange combo. Clean with just enough of an accent :)
Starting to like these Zelos watches. When they go 11, I'll be quick to get one
finally, they make a watch with a clean dial, instead of all kinds of weird colors...
This one is now sold out. I wish someone would do a review of the 'field' version as I'm more interested in that...so far there are no reviews of this.
What happens if you make a negative review? do you think zelos would be inclined to partner again with you in the future?
Dunno, I try to avoid agreeing to review watches that look like something I wouldn't recommend. I've been sent watches by other brands that have had problems that I've noted in reviews, but so far none of them of complained. More often they apologize and say they'll work harder on their quality control in the future.
Finally a microbrand without drilled through lugs
The date seems a bit off just after the 3 minute mark, a bit too far over in the right side????
I Wonder how do you feel about this one 6 months later.
Still really like it! Really the only thing I would change is the bezel color. I think black or stainless steel would have been better. It's a very white watch as it is. But I love everything else about it.
That case looks almost exactly like my Seiko SPB147
